But you'll never get the best ending unless you complete those quest. (Seriously the Law and Chaos endings are so limp, the only ending with any build up and cool missions is the Neutral one,) Plus you get to fight

Have fun. I started replaying SMT4 going for Chaos and with a Magic-using protagonist. Because fuck quests. That early game is really good.

I'm gonna be doing homework for the next 12 hours ;_;

I dun cur. The quest system is terrible and I don't want to put up with it.

Well, that is part of the reason why I think EO4 is the better game compared to SMT IV, actually SMT IV has a lot of flaws that isn't in EO4 or Untold, between its somewhat cheap presentation to having some really odd story/ gameplay choices.

Imma focus on one thing, the one thing that made me despise this character

You remember the episode where ed figures out that Philosophers stone is made of people and al figures out how futile his existence really is when he meets the other bonded suit of armor.

So alphonse and Edward are sad, makes sense they seen some shit right. Alphonse in particular is a resilient dude, he's been through the most shit out of both of them. He can not , eat, sleep, feel, ... tend to certain sexual urges. His entire existence relies on Edward not dying because he dies no one else will be able to fix his body, and that also relies on wherry staying alive because she fixes up ed for free. Although they probably could write that off as a military expense. Anyway, most importantly, he had just learned he may not even be a real person.

Now as I said before Alphonse is the most resilient mother fucker in that entire show. But everyone deserves time to absorb their situation, sulk a bit and pick themselves back up, be mad at their situation. Wenry didn't allow for that, so Alphonse is littering cut up sitting on the floor and Whenry walks in, stuff gets tense Alphonse gets reasonably mad and Edward walks away. Now what the reasonble person would have did was let the two work it out themeslves, as they do ussually. Along with let alphonse be mad because HE IS LITERALLY IN PEICES ON THE FLOOR AND NOW HAS TO CONTEMPLATE THE ENTIERTEY OF HIS EXISTENCE.

Maybe an encouraging word here or there, but this is the situation where you back the fuck off , and let them handle it. She didn't do that, what she did was solidify her goals, which is and seems to ultimately , to fuck Edward. Thats reasonable right, she's the love interest obviously she has romantic feeling for one of the protagonists. Thats where the reasonable part ends, what she essentially does is tell Alphonse " No you can't be sad, not because you it would benefit you , no because it makes Edward sad, and edward can't get sad, its not like that's normal and its happened before he comes beck because he is cool dude and him being sad is grip on reality can't you see all he has done for you, man with no body "

This statement 1 completly suggesting that alphonse hadn't done a shit ton of shit for himself.

Two, he gave her look. I choose to believe this look was code for " you mean get me in this damn situation in the first place" because thats what he did. " Yo, bro we can totally bring mom back to life and she wont become a sexy Frankenstein tentacle abomination" Thats what ed did for him, but he don't talk about it, he loves his bro. He understands, he doesn't need reminding, he never gets sad, he gets sad once. Once, he tries to express his feelings of helplessness, he can't he can't because that would make her boyfriend sad, and him not being able to eat,sleep, feel, solver certain sexual urges, and his entire existence relying on his brother not dying + i just remembered he could die at any time , they had no idea how that seal worked, he was living on the edge. Every day of his life, his life was an eternal escort mission, with out ed he's fucked .this was not important as her desire to get with Ed.


So this leads into 3, the notion that she feels like she needs to protect edward from the brutality of reality. If edward, been through this much shit so far, why in the hell does she feel like she need be a defense mechanism, for him. He can defend himself, you at the kid across the hall with a potential terminal disease to stop being sad because boyfriend with the scuffed up arm feels bad. No he deals with it, he deals with especially because created the situation. You didn't, whenry. She did not need to interject at all, she should have let it play the fuck out, it would worked out, they love each other too damn much. She at every point in the series, keeps asking to be involved in their shenanigans, but she's annoying. All she would do is just ruin everything or say dumb shit like this.

In short

She's all up in the cool aid , doesn't know what the flavor is, but the flavor is cyanide.
