You wanna know the weirdest thing about this game? For a cast shamelessly full of fap bait, the characters are really likable, and actually carry some depth.

That blew my mind, and made me think the director of these games is some kind of bored genius. I mean, with the girls themselves, the games would have found an audience, but this is something else.

Truly a genius.

I do think Matt is the one of the better ones when they are by themselves. Though, has Woolie ever have a solo vid, I know Liam had a solo stream.

Fucking seriously? There's depth behind that game?

I wasn't even going to buy a Vita before I started hanging out here in these threads, now I'm gonna end up buying this ._.

Play Persona 1 and 2, nerd. Dooooooo iiiiiiiiit

See? That's the thing, everyone sees those 30 seconds you rarely do and shouldn't do all the time, and assume that's the rest of the game. Pretty much every other part is essentially an Atelier game in style and story.

Sure, but that doesn't really change the fact that those sections are creepy. I didn't say that the entire game is creepy.

I know that feeling.

It's confusing. I don't want to play the game for lewd. I like the story and the characters too much.

That's what's even more disappointing, though! The camera is so closely zoomed in and there are so many effects flashing on the screen that you can barely even see what you're rubbing! I'm so mad about this you guys! I was a victim of the marketing machine! I wanted lewd card battles but instead just got regular card battles!

You should make a thread about it.

Gooooooddammmmmiiiiiitttt. I really hope they have some sort of Black Friday deal on Vitas, I'm wanting it more and more.

Do it for that #RubTech

A solo Woolie video would be weird. It would have to be something he's comfortable with, so his defensive passive play doesn't shine through, and he would have to be on his a game when it comes to entertainment.

I'm sure he could do it.

It's stupidly addicting to try out all the new stuff. I've wiped my harddrives too many time to count.

Lol, Ubuntu's release schedule leads to uninteresting updates like that. That thread shows there's a community of Linux users. I wonder why there's no
Community OT...

The noob guide seems somewhat detailed to me of all the mainstream distros, but hasn't been updated in two years. Even so, with a lot of distros, its hard to have only one OT. There are many discussion between different distros and it would be hard to keep track of what's being said. A OT for each distro might flood the Off topic board, so that's a problem too.

Vita is unironically my favorite handheld of all time, strictly because of the feel and buttons. Games-wise, it's alright. A lot of good games.
I have no doubts that the hardware is solid. The vita is beautiful and I've been infatuated with the hardware since I tried a store demo unit like over a year ago. I ended up buying a 3DS that year instead, which I don't regret. The software side on Vita was just a bit...

Yeeeah. I also wasn't as into anime back then so *shrug*

Ah, that is true. Maybe it isn't feasible. I feel like there could be OT Community threads for Linux in general without being too overwhelming, but oh well. Threads made when new news happens is alright.

I do wonder why sexual content in Video games particularly is so surprising. So many movies and books have it and people barely bat an eye. Hell, 50 Shades of grey is flat out porn, it sold gangbusters.

Though, I guess it goes back to the whole, gamers aren't particularly open minded compared to other media considering a lot them are usually teenagers that can't even accept that people have different taste.

Over the years I use to want to make a game, but I realized two things.

1. I'm probably no where near skilled enough, or have enough time to program anything.

2 Gamers are easily some of the most reactive and harsh media consumers as a whole.

Ergo, it pretty much killed any and all hype for me making any sort of game. Plus I prefer telling stories anyway.

Barren.

There are actually quite a few games, I'm pretty consistently playing games, it just depends on what you like. I'm going to be playing Tales of Hearts in a few weeks, then Atelier Ayesha again. There's also the rerelease of Hyper Dimension Neptunia and a ton of other JRPGs. Pretty much it's the same types of games that were on the PSP, and if you didn't like that then you probably won't like the Vita.

Now? Now it's pretty solid. I never had a PSP either, due to lack of interest, but between the PS1, PSP, and Vita Libraries I'm finally seeing enough games to fully justify my purchase. Also nowdays I'm more into creepy anime bullshit, so that opens the floodgates. (kidding mostly)

People might worry that we might be too into the games that we won't have sex and might be put in our children,

You could be a writer/director in a game!
Just like David Cage

It's a young medium, young and immature. There are people trying to change it as much as they can.

Very new medium, in the eyes of the old, it's still a toy for children.

Books were burned, considered blasphemous. Movies were called corrupters of the youth. Comic books were practically the enemy of the church during its start. Music was called the devil's noise. The old guard does not like accepting the new.

Games are seen as a childish activity, though it's better recently. The ability to move around in a vitual world makes people beleive it affects players more. Sex is scarier than violence, etc.

Movies with sexual content are more accepted, but that's mainly due to the age and popularity of the medium.
Edit: Beaten really hard.
I unironically recommend Monster Monpiece, despite the lewdness being disappointing, it's still a super fun strategy card game.

I am actually joking, that rub tech is goofy, but it's nothing that will stop me from playing it if I look up gameplay and like it.

That is true, but games are reaching into the 40 soon. But to be fair, games can only reach the heights of other media, if both the people who make games and gamers themselves mature.

A romance game/ dating sim is creepy, but a romance novel/ movie is normal.

Having a sex scene in a romance game is creepy, having a sex scene in a movie or book about fucking romance is normal.

See what I mean?

I just finished Kill la Kill.

Now I must weep that such a masterpiece has to be followed.

Why was my favorite character Nui? I still don't get it, but I have to accept it.

I loved all the stylish sequences where she suddenly became a 2D object. AND of course she takes the Platinum signature of breaking the end credits of the penultimate episode.

Every second of Nui on screen is some kind of brilliance.

I wholly agree with the second point. Any of that fanboy/console race bullshit reminds me of how obnoxious gamers in general can be about the hobby.

Anytime I mention how important bringing down the barriers of gaming to the mainstream are and why things like Wii or IPhone games are important for bridging the gap, there's always this stringent group that belabors the point of dismissing casual gamers. It irks the shit out of me. A gamer is a gamer. Someone who plays Tetris or candy crush daily is just as important as the AAA console/PC gamers. We all like digital games. Can't we get along?
