You've never seen Death Note? It's fun as hell, man, it's really been overhyped and hated on by a lot of people for being the Attack on Titan of its day, but it's still a really fun ride.
Read the manga, though, it's mostly dialog and it all makes more sense in the manga. Not to mention the ending is better in the manga, it's more or less the same ending, but the anime does it worse.
