Everybody panned poor Mort because he actually liked Veilguard, but he's still one of the best RPG review channels.
His reviews are super thorough and in-depth, dude is a freakin machine to 100% games the way he does so quickly.
I found him when he only had a few thousand subs and have always enjoyed his content, even when I disagree with his opinion.
 
This today and Nightreign in a week. Fuck yeah. The third person mode in this looks good enough for me to be excited.

He's 100% using one of those steam achievement programs, his reviews are generic as they come.

Oh, got you.

I follow cowboy because of his souls and souls like coverage. Most of the time I find myself in agreement with his assessment on games.

DD2 and rise of the ronin were the only times I've found myself disagreeing (for opposite reasons).

I mean there is no a strict rule for that, a great game from 2025 could be better than a goty from the year before if that year had poor releases and you chose your goty between just good games.

The stuff surrounding his "100%" review for wartales is well documented at this point. I don't know what more evidence you want than somebody managing to get achievements that were bugged and impossible to get until months after his review went out.
 
Appreciate his comments about the combat, the occasional beauty in the world, and the story. Some amusing bugs, too.

Doubt it will because of the fact that it's been available throughout early access at a discount. They also removed the double pack for owners of the first game.

Would be a nice surprise if they did though.
 
Haven't stopped thinking about the demo since I finished it and I like supporting smaller devs like this, decisions decisions. Need more info whether the PS5 version isn't a complete broken mess first then I think I'll pull the trigger even though I'm focused on Oblivion now, there is something very alluring about Avalon.
 
So its basicly lower budget oblivion sequel with darker tone that was outsourced to obsidian from fallout New Vegas period team like. Yeah I think I'm back boys

I've seen one reviewer complaining about serious bugs (Jim-Stephanie Sterling), but most reviewers report occasional bugs or glitches, generally laughing them off. So, experiences vary. Most people are reporting bugs, but not game-breaking ones.

Your attitude toward bugs will factor in. Some people (like me) grew up on Bugthesda games and expect bugs and glitches. It's just part of the territory. Other people have limited tolerance for imperfection and get annoyed when things don't run just right. If you're the latter type, you should wait.

A review said that there is the $45 base version and a $55 version with some goodies. I only see the $45 version on PS5. Is there any word on those goodies or a separate upgrade/DLC pack coming to PS5?

Been in this game with EA for a long time now.

Happy to play again with 1.0.

It's come a long way since the first time I played and improved each time with community feedback.
