8 electrics in one combo, even if that combo also included a rage drive and a floor break.

Question for stick users: What kind of stick is best for movement in Tekken? I've got a ball stick with Sanwa switches and a square gate and keep making embarassing movement mistakes in online. Sure, it might just be lack of practice, but I've been wondering if a bat stick might be better...?

Any ideas?

Anyone?

I heard if you even dream about doing this there will come a Korean with a bat to beat you up having unrealistic expectations

You got this

Bookmark this post, one day I'm gonna have the execution to actually pull this off.

Even if it takes me two years of non-stop DORYAs.

I don't know why, but i find that most T7 stages are boring maybe except the Arena and kinder gym. We need more colorful stages :(.

Any easy way to deal with Asuka's parries? (Especially as my current main, Kazuya?) Not really sure what to do, especially since my friend (an Asuka player) can also easily shake off holds.

I think they're all fine, but some do look a bit sterile. Mostly due to odd lighting and/or not enough little extras to add some "life" to them. Like the silly ass sheep in T6. (I miss them.)

Just use the throws that use both hands since no one techs those :v

(also, it's active for a certain amount of time, so I think you just wait before bopping her... also also, I think it might be vulnerable to a specific level of attack, but I'm not sure)

So I decided to play this on Keyboard since I never really tried to play a fighter on a keyboard before.

I got a mechanical keyboard recently and it has macro functions, I never really played with them, but it seems like it might be advanced enough to do stuff like make a one button macro for KBD or electrics.
That seems like it would be against the spirit of the game though.

Calling that a BnB will scare off all aspiring Kazuya players lol

If you can land that 98% of the time, then you can land his real BnB 100% of the time which only requires one EWGF (as the launcher). It does more damage and it provides great wall carry.

EWGF ; 3,1,4 ; df1,4 ; dash forward ; df1,4

You can also do the same combo after a counter hit df2 or a ws2 as the launcher instead

I like doing EWGF, EWGF, df+1,4, dash, hellsweep

Does a nice 64 dmg and you get to settle with 2 DORYA's! rather than 3 for less dmg.

Some of the vanilla versions of stages were more varied in color. They exaggerated the lighting and coloring in FR to make the fighters stand out more. I think it's a pity they didn't include the old versions though.

Here are some of the changes. Top is Vanilla, bottom is FR/Home version

Dragon's Nest

(The way it looks when it's raining is different too, but I couldn't find good screens. The vanilla version is darker and more stormy, while the FR version is very blue)

Damn. Jungle and Twilight both looked hella better in the first ones, IMO. Piss filter on Jungle is no good. And Twilight actually looked like a night stage before. Or at the least, dusk.

Yeah, those two are the ones I think came out worse. I also like the light to dark transition in the original Dragon's Nest, but the new one looks great too.

Depending on the spacing, the df1,4 can miss after the 2nd EWGF. When i go for that combo, i do a quick jab and then df14 so

EWGF ; EWGF ; 1 (or f1) ; df1,4 ; dash ; hellsweep. It does the same exact damage too lol

If your spacing is good, you can replace the jab with a df3 which will lead to 67 dmg instead of 64 :p

Ya i was thinking about this, the stages looked more colorful when i was watching T7 tournaments on twitch compared to what we got with the final version.

Dear god, I thought I was just going crazy remembering that some stages had appeared 'brighter' beforehand. My sanity is redeemed.

Just faced a Nina and I had no idea where to block for a certain attack as it seemed to get me everywhere (didn't look like an unblockable).

Feels bad man...

Is it entirely needed to mist step with b+2 with Lee or is that just all for show? I'm having a hell of a time just trying to get out two.

I don't bother. He got many various combo without it, much easier, and similar damage.

It's useful for wall carry though, but playing online, I try to be safe.

I'll play around with it some more. The other hard part is getting the WS+2, 1 out. But BnBs I need to get down before I get to any of the advanced stuff.
