nothing is completely safe in that position. That's why Feng combos are scary cuz they end you either on the ground very close to feng or have your back against the opponent on the ground.

Does anyone know what the combo is after that? I cannot figure it out, it looks to me like u+3,d3,4 but the 4 puts you in stance so how do you get the elbow after?

I have been playing josie for about 3 days and I have been using 3,3 dash f+2,3,4 for 50 damage not sure if the combo in the vid does more.

For Akuma's special match, just jump back.

You only get that plate for beating it on level 10 difficulty.

Also, story assist + 1, 1, 2, 3 is a pretty effective combo for that fight. Hope you don't mind using story assists.

I did it with 1 button electrics, you can punish a lot of his moves with it and duck the power crush.

Video's awesome, but as a Tekken beginner, even having played them all since Tekken 1, it sorta indicates what I don't like about Tekken and the high wall of entry. If you're playing by someone who knows some good combos & has good execution, you throw out a move/poke, miss and get countered/parried, and then your opponent does a 7-8 hit combo for the next few seconds and now you've lost half your HP or more.

Like when I'm playing online there's a huge difference between opponents who know combos and who don't. I'll play 5-10 people who don't know more than a 3 hit BnB and the matches are exciting and flow well with pokes and juggles and throws, not too different from VF. Then on the 11th online match I'll run into a guy who basically kills me in 2 long combos every round and it's just a lot of defensive blocking/dodging because if I miss a single attack I'm fucked. I get that this is Tekken, and not asking them to change it for low-level play; but it's just day & night between players who know these long ass combos of those who don't.

Tekken would be absolutely amazing if there was little to no combo time.


But, most fighting games are heavily combo dependents, and Tekken is still the best fighting game to play even with the long juggles. So I put up with it still.

To me juggles/long combos are the reward for getting good at the game, if they didn't exist the game wouldn't be half as fun. Might as well play SFV if you want to put in a lot of time in a game with nothing flashy as a reward.

Do you mean f+3? If so, enter the d/f immediately like it's part of the initial f+3 and let the stick go to neutral. So do a f, d/f motion and hit 3 with f. As soon as the crouch dash begins then side step and cancel that with 1. Really easy once you get the rythm down.
