More for some characters. You actually have to hit a button to select the costume you want. You don't have a certain costume based on the button you hit.

Sweet! So its kind of like VF5FS where you hit a button then select from a list? I was worried that the special manga artist desgined outfits would take a way a spot but it sounds like that wont be the case.

Still sucks that they merged body parts together :(

But maybe it'll result in greater equality among the characters. Didn't like how certain characters had way more options than others in 6.

Amazon will have some pre-order stuff but not all of it. Best option would be to go with Gamestop.

Not sure about midnight launches.

Weird statement, but I just love how the center of the character select screen is populated by the Mishimas/Kazamas and the fighters that have history with them (Xiaoyu, Wang, Lili, Alisa).

Another question, probably suited for MarkMan or FilthieRich, but have their been any updates /new additions to team winposes?

hmmm... I do most of my gaming on 360. is there more players playing Tekken on PS3 or 360? If it is almost the same between the two, I'll just get it on 360..

Tekken 6 was overwhelmingly played on PS3 on GAF and TZ.com. Most tournaments except WCG are also played on PS3 simply because Tekken is so pad friendly.

For TTT2 I'm sure there will still a good number of people on 360 as well. You won't go wrong with either version and you'll easily find matches for both. Personally getting it on PS3. I had both versions of T6 with the 360 version on my roommate's xbox... however he left about 4 months ago so all I have is my PS3 left. But it was pointless afterward since he modded it.

Remember Tekken Club Night live streaming in 3.5 hours by the way.
I wouldn't expect any announcements here...

At this point they have come so far with all the characters and features they might as well just fill in the entire top row and get to 66 characters. Bring back any dead / minor character at this point Harada! I support you.

But the event coming up seem to be focused solely on the composers and Tekken music. In fact the whole Gamescom seem to center around Tekken Tunes when it comes to all things Tekken. Of course that reveal can be music related but I think we got most of it covered.

Yeah, there's a good chance nothing will be revealed. However, a lot of Tekken fans are going to be there, so at the same time, Harada might treat them with a cool juicy reveal (just hopeful thinking)

2P outfits are there, but they aren't new. They're just from the current pool of customs already present. And some characters have a 3P (the mangaka collaboration ones).

And the community here is also very kind and helpful. You should also read the OP and watch LUYG.

I understand all of the mechanics etc but the timing is hard for me.

EDIT2: Now they're talking about Tekken Tunes. With a hilarious trailer... hope that's released! No new characters announced.

EDIT3: There's also a voice record function, you can play it at certain instances Example 1: If you're a parent and you want your kid to stop playing and do their homework, have a message scolding them after they finish arcade mode. Example 2: If you're a girl and you want to break up with your boyfriend cause you're fed up with him playing too much, have a breakup message at the character select screen. Example 3: Harada plans to troll Ono by recording a porno movie when he plays the game.

EDIT4: Nobuyoshi Sano is on... and he's too good!

I just got owned hard in my first online Tekken 6 match for like 1.5 years.

Tekken 3 soundtrack was great indeed. It acually was the last tekken (and tekken tag) I played til now

We probably won't have a great connection in Tekken 6 but try add me up, won't hurt if the netcode in Tag 2 is great.

The netcode is already killing me after 30 minutes lol and I have fast Internet.

I'll try, but I'm definitely not ready yet, LOL. I've just spent like 30 min in practice mode and I cannot get a combo down yet. I've got a lot of work to do...

I'll be on later (10 CST) with my mediocre heihachi and maybe ganny, if I feel like being terrible. Psn: biscuit5001. I'm in Louisiana.

I plan on using the extra money I saved from the TTT2 newegg deal to buy tekken 2, 3 and TTT tracks. One of the few games this generation that I am 100% confident in being worth $60, probably more.

7.5GB required HDD space. Tekken 6 needed 32MB and had an optional hard drive install of 4GB.

Jinpachi's scene where he is dropped off at Red Light District starts at 24:18 at Twitch.

I know how you feel man. 17 years worth of memories all just came back. I had tears and goosebumps almost the entire time watching the archive. I wish I was there to experience it in person. I seriously need the whole thing in mp3 form.

Does that link right there feature the Tekken tracks everyone gushed over? I need to watch that ASAP.

Edit: Yep! I annoy my wife with Tekken tracks on car trips all the time. Love it.
