have mercy.

The front is growing on me but I think I will always prefer having something to break it up a bit. Interior continues to be a disappointment for a "luxury" vehicle. At the end of the day it's still the only fully electric vehicle I could see myself driving and not being embarrassed.

How much would they extend the range in ideal conditions? Looks like a gimmick tbh

Not for extending range... but it would help keep the car from losing too much power while parked and you can run a circulating fan or light without tapping into the main

I thought we knew super charging would not be unlimitedly free. Nice to know it will be free for long trips, at least for a certain amount of kWh per year.

Of course it has less standard fucking features, it costs $35,000 and not $70/80/90,000!

I really don't know what people expect for this price point. This is not a model S or X, this is 3.
I was mocking a poster in another thread. Do you have a list of the missing features? The poster didn't provide one with his claim.

Panasonic recently showcased an automotive HUD system at CES. Given how Tesla and Panasonic's relationship is evolving past just batteries, it would be awesome if this ends up in the 3.

Shouldn't be more than a couple months until we find out what we'll really be getting with the Model 3. I don't want to get my hopes up, but I'll be honest—it'll be disappointing if we don't get some kind of HUD after all the rumors and speculation.

According to inside sources they are also going to produce a few Model 3s during that timeframe for further testing purposes. The investor call on the 22nd could get really interesting.
Hopefully the final Model 3 reveal event happens soon.

The wife is so unimpressed with the interior and general size of the Model 3 that she's willing to save longer to put down for a Model X. I reminded her of the price but she was undeterred.

Model S - Gorgeous. Handsome and muscular sedan. A bit generic in some lines but otherwise wonderful.

Model 3 - a bit lumpen at some angles, the "grill" looks like unfinished clay modeling and distracts from an unremarkable but inoffensive silhouette.

Model X - DERP DERP DERP DERP FATTY DERP DERP

When I see one of these on the highway I always feel sorry for it. Like it's going to roll over and burst at any moment.

I dig the insides. Clean lines, no distractions. The screen could use a bit of housing, looks tacked on.

I would imagine as cars move towards more self-driving tech, the insides morph into more comfortable, living-room like spaces. Less "car" things and more chill and relax things.

Do it. You may not want to be a first gen car owner if y'all don't like it. Not sure how the X is shaking out but the S needed refinement.

See, I feel the same way. We're definitely in the minority.

Why do we need all things on ICE cars when they don't belong anywhere on EV? The people who were in an uproar over the lack of grill on the front. It's a complete rethinking and I'm very for it. Can't wait to see the interior reveal.
