Now this is a line of thinking I can get behind

Not only did she win the calendar-year Grand Slam, but she won every GS FOUR times. (Also, she was one game away from winning two calendar-year GSs in a row--unbelievable.) And then, of course, there are the 22 GS titles, the overall titles won, the weeks at number one...
Seriously, it kind of pisses me off that everyone always focuses on the men when it comes to the GOAT conversation. Many of the things accomplished by Graf, Navratilova and Evert likely will never be surpassed. And, yes, that includes Serena, who could *possibly* surpass Graf in terms of GS titles won (I hope not), but that's about it. (She'll never come to close to matching the overall titles won, weeks at number one, etc.)
