Game wise i think nadal peaked 2 years ago, he is at a plateau with his game not as good as it was 2-3 years ago

I don't know, I'd say his game has improved in some aspects and regressed in others, on hard courts he's definitely a better player, but the flip side is that he's probably not as invincible on clay as he once was. His defeats against Djokovic in 2011 and knee injury has facilitated a switch to a more aggressive play style. That combined with his ferocious competitive spirit allowed him to beat Djokovic in the US Open final and regain the number one spot. Let's face it, he was basically unstoppable during the US hard court season.

Djokovic in Montreal and at the USO had two chokes of the highest order (abysmal tiebreak and falling apart after not converting that 0-40). Until that point, he was the better player in both matches.
