I don't know a whole lot, but Canada just always struck me as being more politically similar to the UK or France or Australia, except they talk like us. That's kind of odd when you compare it to the political leanings of basically every other country in the western hemisphere. I was a bit aware of the crap First Nations people go through up there though.
