What's wrong, in their eyes, with multicultural products? Or is everything not made by blacks automatically created by the white man?
Man I just came across something heartbreaking on worldstar, but I still laughed. Am I a asshole?
Not going to post it because Gaf don't need to see it.

Everyone is to good for PBR. I'm not even into beer, but out of the stuff I've had, it's low tier.
Which tastes more like beer: Budweiser or PBR?
This movie was incomprehensible.Tai Chi Zero
I am actually quite familiar with LaVeyan Satanism and have read the Satanic Bible and the Satanic Witch out of pure curiosity. I was referencing The Burbs for comedic effect. You don't really know what LaVey was preaching, do you? He called his religion Satanism in the hopes it would create a lot of media coverage. The things he actually wrote is more in line with what many posters here think; there is no god, do what you want as long as it doesn't hurt others, don't let people exploit you etc. He wasn't a devil worshipper as many seem to think.

Had a Nigga Moment happen at work yesterday.
I work at a motorcycle dealership that sells/rents motorcycles, jetskis, ATVs, trailers, etc. Basically, one dude bought a motorcycle on Monday and we were able to get him loans from banks, get him his plate and inspection stickers. He comes in yesterday with his mother; his mother already starts hollering about how she did not want her son buying the bike, and that the son did not even know how to ride a motorcycle. She wanted the banks to cancel the charges and we were the ones who were supposed to make that happen. Well, the son signed a certain document here when he bought the bike and when someone signs that, we have no power in canceling anything: We told her many times that she had to call the banks to get the charges cancelled.
For some reason, she wasn't having it and acted more ghetto, saying shit like, "Oh, don't talk to me like I don't know what I'm talking about. Fact of the matter is, we ain't paying for that bike. My son doesn't even know how to ride a goddamned bike." Anyway, she leaves, saying that she's going to call her lawyers and shit. Thirty minutes later, she comes back with her brolic assed husband and INSTANTLY dude punches off a side view mirror on one of our bikes and PULLS HIS SHIRT OFF yelling, "OH, We about to have some problems up in here. You better call the motherfucking cops. Where the fuck is the manager in this place? I ain't having no one talk to my wife or my son like y'all talked to them. Where the fuck is the manager?"
So, my boss -- the manager (white guy) gets out and tells the father the same shit that he told his wife: We could not cancel what the banks charge them. The father got even angrier saying shit like, "Oh, don't talk down to me. I'm a grown assed man, B. I ain't fucking with that shit. I'll fuck you up. You don't think I can fuck you up?" And my boss who's usually real chill starts yelling at the father, repeatedly telling him that its beyond his power to do anything that he is asking of them, and that he needs to call the banks. Then dude dropped the race card. "Oh, you think I'm some nigga, right? That's why you talkin' to me the way you talkin' to me." Boss says that race was never an issue and is never an issue when doing business and they were finally able to call the banks in charge of the kid's bike. We called the police like 20 minutes into this, but the police came and did nothing really, the situation was over by then. They were able to get what they wanted, and they walked out quietly without saying shit to anyone after that.
Funny parts? We thought the kid buying the bike was like 18 or something because of the way their parents acted but the dude was 26 and had to have his mother and father talk for him. The side view mirror that the dude punched out? It was a bike reserved for a police officer. And, this is what takes the cake. The father calls like 30 minutes later apologizing for his actions and then asking to purchase a bike. Like, wtf??????
tl;dr: Kid buys bike. Two days later, mother comes hollering this mess about not wanting the bike and that her kid doesn't know how to ride. She asks to cancel the charges but we tell her over and over again that we are not in charge of the charges/payments and that she has to call the bank associated with the deal. Ratchet father comes in threatening harm to boss, playing race card, raising hell in the shop that scared incoming customers and customers already in. Once realizing that they were wrong, they left...only later to call in asking to purchase a bike for his son.
I even jokingly apologized to my boss, "on behalf of all black people everywhere", and everyone laughed but he told me that, "It's never a race issue. It's an education issue. Some people just don't understand, even if you tell them over and over again, assuring them of what they're getting into and what they have to do." And he's right.

Just not melodramatic and overly morbid, really. I enjoy films focusing on the black struggle, (of course, if you can think of some that don't, feel free to include those too).
It's the most ridiculous thing that I have ever encountered here. You straight up tell people one thing and they just don't listen. Also dude's 26 and still needs his mother and father to speak for him wtf. Dude stayed quiet the whole time.SOrry man but this has me rolling. So much wrong in that family.
I didn't mean anything by it honestly, but I see where you're coming from.Don't do that.
Good shit, about damn time.
Good to hear.
You know he got a whooping for buying that bike. It's the most ridiculous thing that I have ever encountered here. You straight up tell people one thing and they just don't listen. Also dude's 26 and still needs his mother and father to speak for him wtf. Dude stayed quiet the whole time.

Thanks. Best part is, its more than I was expecting or aiming for. 92% increase, my pay was shit to begin with so I won't be hanging out at the countryclub with Soundscream but its making this shithole more tolerable.

Slay, I'm gonna need that link.
Oh, sorry. We told the mother to call the bank. She called the bank and immediately made the bank representatives talk to my boss. My boss explained the situation to the representative, and the representative spoke to both the father and the mother after that.So who called the bank in the end? The family or your manager?
And did the guy not get in trouble for breaking the mirror off the bike?
Lol, I don't even know. I thought he would after they left but when the father called asking to buy a bike I really don't know what they were thinking. You know he got a whooping for buying that bike.
At the end of March, Temptation: Confessions Of A Marriage Counselor hit theaters, bringing the number of films written and directed by Tyler Perry to 13 in just over seven years. Like Perrys films always do, Temptation dropped into theaters without being screened in advance for critics, then barreled to a box-office triumph despite savage reviews.
But Temptation isnt just another inept, inelegant Tyler Perry film. In fact, years from now, we may look back on Temptation as the loose thread that catalyzed the unraveling of Perrys prominence. That could be wishful thinking, but the critical response to Temptation suggests a genuine sea change in how Perrys work is perceived. For the first time, white critics are taking earnest swings at the Perry piñata.
In the days following Temptations release, a few white writers on prominent online platforms took Perry to task for the nauseating subtext of his films twist ending. (By this time, I imagine most of the people who wanted to see Temptation have seen it, but anyone averse to spoilage should stop reading here.)Temptation concludes with a troubling epilogue in which Judith (Jurnee Smollett-Bell) is seen in a pharmacy owned by her ex-husband Brice (Lance Gross). Shes there picking up her HIV medication, which she must now take after cheating on Brice with a man who infected her. Brice has since remarried a more virtuous Christian woman who loves him for his goodnesswhich apparently includes offering deep discounts on his ex-wifes HIV meds, because I cant imagine why else Judith would subject herself to this indignity rather than Googling the nearest Walgreens.
So I guess none of yall negroes went to go see Temptation?
Because we were supposed to talk about this by now:
damn tyler it's like that? i don't think it's possible to be more heavy handed than that.

Father ended up paying for the damages. No charges were made.
Where the hell do you work!?! I thought you were talking about a street preacher at first, not a coworker.
Precious is probably the most heavy handed movie I can think of in recent memory, unless you include something like Bamboozled, but that's satire. I mean, I like Precious, but that shit was suffrage porn. I suppose it works if you view the character of Precious to be an allegory for the urban experience, otherwise that shit is ridiculous.
Her mom is abusive, she wishes she were white, her dad raped her and impregnated her, she's impoverished, she's morbidly obese, she's illiterate and uneducated, her baby has down syndrome and then the movie ends on a triumphant note. Her father was HIV positive, so she has HIV and so does her baby. The end.
That's too much for one movie.

Great White Hope w/ JEJ is quite underrated. I think people don't quite understand how crazy Jack Johnson made people and how many doors he opened and closed with what was summarized in later as "Unforgivable Blackness" (in a great book by Geoffrey Ward and later turned into a great Ken Burns documentary).
anyone catch that Ken Burns Central Park Five doc that PBS ran a couple days ago? city of New York needs to pay for that shit and give those boys an apology. anyone of those kids couldve been me at 14, shit.
