I usually don't pay attention because I don't upgrade my phone/TV/Receiver etc anywhere close to a yearly basis.
Physicians and marketing firms would probably like to know how exactly you spend every minute of your time....but I don't see why anyone would give a fuck to see a breakdown of how they spend every day of their lives. The usefulness of that kind of data to a individual begins and ends with fitness to me. I don't care how much time I spend listening to music or watching movies or driving my car.

That's their challenge. If they can sell Steam to the consumer, they will move the console.
I don't know the specifics of the Steambox OS, but I've never had problems with Steam itself outside of stuff like the store rarely being slow/down during high traffic times, which should be fixable.
