More details on PlayTV would be welcome.

Why would they do that? Cock tease us? We got shafted...playtv is only for Yuros and maybe Japan AFAIK.

- Plans shown for Music and Video sections in the PS Store.
- New never before seen PSN games will be shown.
- PS2 Classics for download on PSN will roll out this Fall.
- More PSP/PS3 intergration will be shown, possibly Home intergration.

I like those, I really want a music download section added to the store, we know movies and tv shows are coming but damn would it be so hard to add music there for download? They will probably show Q4B and The Last Guy as original PSN games......PS2 Classics would be awesome and possibly mean SE BC is possible and I'm all for that

Ok I'm gonna dream up for a bit and tell you what I'd like to see (none of the following will happen)

1) PS3 RPGs maybe WKC? Suikoden VI? SoA2 (or is that supposed to be Wii only?) or SMT.
2) More PSOne classics...fuck there's nothing worth a damn in the American store, what the fuck?
3) SE BC and replace the 40GBs with 160GBs HDD or at least 120GBs, 40 GB price = 120GBs price and maybe lose 5 bucks cheaper than the 160GBs if they replace it at the end of the year, but soon the 160GB will be cheaper then the 40GB so it all works out.
4) Release those damn Playstation Cards nationwide
5) Acquire close partnered studio development teams (any of the following would suffice - Insomniac, Level 5, Sucker Punch, Media Molecule, Media Vision, Ninja Theory) - If they don't, someone else will
6) Have a Western Studio develop an original WRPG and a Japanese Studio develop a JRPG(Maybe PD since Kaz has mentioned plenty of times that he'd like to develop a RPG)
7) Blu ray to PSP copying....release it now
8) PSP games and access to the store directly.
9) Show me some PSP games that have gone MIA (GT Mobile, Oblivion Travelers, DMC Portable) and announce new games...I wouldn't mind a San Andreas Stories or MGSPO2 or even a Civ Revolution port.
10) LBP remote play on PSP/PSP version of LBP or bust.
11) Show GT5P Spec 3 or GT5, but the whole point is to show deformation or don't even bother showing up.
12) GH line up because seriously who the fuck is still paying $60 bucks for Resistance?

With that said we'll probably just see what has been announced (GoW3 video, FFXIII video, Infamous, Killzone 2, Tekken 6, etc...) and that will probably be enough.

It's still a little early for me to get into full on E3 prediction mode, but I do have some speculation to share with the class.

Firmware 2.40 and Ratchet:Quest For Booty will be made availible for download on PSN directly after Sony's E3 press conference.

At this point I think that 2.40 is a given either just before or just after the conference, but R:QFB would also be a great release timed with all the new features. In fact, R:QFB could be the first official game to support trophies 'out of the box' so to speak.

Not that I completely disagree with you or anything, but you do know that Ready at Dawn was founded by ex-Naughty Dog people, right?

Also, there are most definitely some surprises still in store for every company. This E3 is going to kick ass -- even if I think it'll be the last. 10 years of this stuff will be enough for me. Bring on the events for games when they're actually ready, I say.

Of course, I know guys from the current Naughty Dog have expressed an interest in returning to Jak & Daxter, and Ready at Dawn has expressed an interest in creating their own new IPs, so I think it's unlikely they'll be working on a new J&D.

However, I could see whatever it is that they are working on being announced at E3 (and I do think it's a ps3 title).

If what I've heard about the scope and scale of Sony's first and second development operation is true, and I've no reason to believe it's not, I have absolutely no doubt that Sony are going to have quite a few bombs to drop this year about 2009 and 2010 titles.

I agree completely. Sony had sold me Home when they first showed it off at GDC 2007, but every time they've showed it since then I'm getting more apathetic. I want Home, and know it's coming eventually, but like you said "we get the point, just release it already."

Resistance 2 will be fully unvieled, that's for sure and IMO it will have a higher presence than Killzone 2. I have a feeling that Killzone 2 will be saved for later to be used as Sony's main game at the Liepzig GC.

If anyone is expecting JRPG announcements on PS3 at E3, prepared to be very disappointed. The only JRPGs which usually get announced at E3 (unless it's a FF or something) are ones getting stateside release dates which are already out in Japan (and right now, there aren't many on PS3). SCEA is the least likely to announce an RPG for stateside release (they will wait until SCEJ is done with it, before bringing it stateside, if they decide to (based on SCEA's RPG stance, unlikely unless it's Level 5)).

Most devs will announce their JRPGs at private shows or TGS.

A new scan from a Japanese gaming magazine is saying that the PLAYSTATION 3 will soon get it's own Tales Of game that will "take advantage of the system's power". The scan shows Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk for the Wii, Tales of Vesperia for the Xbox 360, and a mystery title for the PLAYSTATION 3, as if every console gets their own Tales of series game.

There is a huge title teasing that the PLAYSTATION 3 Tales Of series game will be announced on "X Day of July". Expect a PLAYSTATION 3 Tales of along with more information on Eternal Sonata that "X Day". We cannot wait.

My guess all this time has been Team Destiny, making a Tales RPG on PS3, and it would be Tales of Destiny 3. I guess that because Team Destiny finished ToD remake around the time PS3 came out in Japan (so they most likely have PS3 development kits). ToD got a remake, ToD2 got ported to PSP, and there was a Director's Cut to ToD (all these happened recently). Tales of Destiny = first PS1 Tales. Tales of Destiny 2 = first PS2 Tales. I could see a ToD3 being the first PS3 Tales. Who knows, but I could see it happening.

I doubt it because Tales hasn't done very well on PlayStation platforms stateside (It would be targeted for Japan mostly) and if it were related to ToD, we probably wouldn't get it (we never got ToD2, for PS2 or PSP). It would come from a private show, if anything.
