Let's IGNORE the fact that the PS3 is outselling the Xbox 360 in the US, Europe, AND Japan just because the Xbox 360 gets a game that the PS3 also gets.

Its out in October and a private beta is underway. You really dont know anything about the PS3, do you? :lol
 
I still can't believe that so many people were shaken by today's conference. There wasn't a single new game announced directed at gamers.

Very true, it FF13 was mutiplatform you would expect Sony to at least secure a 6-12 month exclusivity agreement.

MS got exclusivity agreements with Vesperia, Star Ocean 4, Eternal Sonata, Last Renmant, and Infinite Undiscovery. They may be timed, or they may be full exclusives, but you can only get these games exclusive on the console for a short or a long period of time.

Sony couldn't even do that, how disappointing.

actually, i was referring to the actual storm that just passed where I'm living right now. Too many damn lightnings yesterday, and it poured sooooo hard. But supposedly tomorrow's all sunshine.

Seriously, people (Sony fans) have really over reacted to the FF announcement. It's shocking in that FF is associated as one of Sony's big third party exclusives, but the impact will be minimal to Sony. Sales wise in NA, FF isn't that big of a seller as it is in Japan. It's a big coup for Microsoft to say they have it and really, they deserve kudos on their performance. They were starting to look stale and everything they showed today reaffirmed their standing.

As for Sony, so many exciting things have already happened in terms of big games finally coming out and the monumental jump we've seen regarding PSN. The PS3 experience is finally coming together and I look forward to their press conference tomorrow in reaffirming that fact. Whether or not they have a shock or two, that we will have to wait and see for tomorrow...

The way i see it is. FFXIII had always been the Diamond ring, and PS3's got it. 360 could sleep with as many hot RPGs as it want, but PS3's got what matters most, the ring. But now the wife is sleeping in 2 beds. :lol

Strictly for JRPG fans (in the west) that were on the fence, who would choose PS3 over 360 now? When both are getting FFXIII? Versus XIII won't hit for god knows how long.

When was this announced? Is this true are they COMMITTED to an October date? I hope it does come out in October, I want to try this game out. And I do know a lot about the PS3, so you can save those lols, ok.

We got served. Sony pretty much gave up.

But what I don't understand is why are poeple calling SO4 for 360 only? I swear that game was coming out for the Ps3 as well, am I wrong or what?

And um, the only exclusive SE game 260 is getting is Infinite something and Tales is from Namco, I'm pretty sure the Ps3 is getting a Tales game down the line as well.

But whatever guys, you guys go ahead and blow it out of proportions, I thought the Ms conference was lame, and the FF13 announcement was nice but hey...

I can't wait for tommorow. Some surprises would be nice Sony.

If Final Fantasy XIII could be secured by Microsoft, XIII Versus can be too. I don't think anyone should realistically look at Squeenix as a source of exclusives for the PS3 any longer. However, I do remember someone saying that Final Fantasy VII was co-published by SCEA and Squaresoft, this might mean that the Sony has some considerable share of the IP rights.
 
so, im high right now:

wii gives me a vibe of success.
microsoft gives me a bully vibe.
and sony gives me a vibe of holding back..

if i worked for nintendo i'd just continue being successful. announcing new neat things to keep people interested. hell, the console could go on forever?

if i worked for microsoft, i'd continue using money and collaboration to stay near the top. just constantly strengthening my force if you will and plan for xbox 720's ultimate takeover.

but, if i worked for sony, i would announce a game so damn amazing it'd make everyone shit bricks. everyone. and i'd announce it when it's shipping. and i'd announce a price drop too. and i'd have millions of ps3's waiting to be bought.

Square never stated that SO4 is exclusive.
I hope we get an announcement tomorrow that the PS3 version is shipping day and date.

I never said they had to be exclusives. That's the way the business runs these days. Exclusives are a thing of the past. I'd think you would rationalize with that a little more.
