Why the fuck are people still arguing over this when the game isn't even coming out in the next six months, maybe even twelve months? It's done, man the fuck up and move on. People are acting like there's just ONE game in the PS3 library.

i read somewhere in the thread that ratchet: quest for booty is coming out in the fall? where do u guys get info i havent heard anything on it, id like to know more about it.

fa real though, I think some of us have been jumping the gun, its not like we totally lost the game. Sony has alot going for them this year.

I have a PS3 (had one since launch) ... I'm not concerned. Plenty of great games on it with more to come. I wuv my PS3!!!


While its impossible to not have favorites, being emotionally invested in the console wars serves no purpose.

I REALLY hope you're right. I just bought a PS3 last week (still waiting for it to arrive), and after all these exclusive-shattering bombs that Microsoft has made at E3, I'm starting to doubt my purchase. I mean, I also have an Xbox 360 but what's the point if the 360's getting the same and better stuff too with exclusive DLC? Did I just waste over $500 on a console? Should I consider reselling it now? Now I'm saying all this mainly out of frustration at the moment. I'll wait to see what Sony has up their sleeves. If it's not an ace though, I'm going to be one gypped gamer.

What are "all those bombs" you're talking about? The only one that I saw in that whole conference was FF13.

Yeah I don't get that either, the conf was pretty dreadful till the ending, and that, like their openers isn't an exclusive.

Don't be worried just enjoy the exclusives and know that you have one of the best bluray players on the market. It also makes regular dvds look great on your hdtv, one of my favorite features of the PS3 actually.

give it til end of e3 so all sides get a say and things have cooled down on neogaf from the ff13 announcement...which was really blown of proportion. then decide if you wanna return it. i really think ps3's first party exclusives justify a ps3 purchase tbh. we'll see what happens tomorrow though
 
I am quite surprised as anybody else about the FF13 news.

Kind of sucks that they didn't start the 360 development and us PS3 owners have to wait until that's done with. 2010 release looking more likely.

FUCK PISSED AT SONY! They must not know the classic business formula, "You have spend money to make money" but then again they could have spend it on Versus. But then again that could be reserved for next year's MS E3 Megaton.

Still excited for the conference tomorow though.

I think sony played a bit of strategy. Making sure xbox didn't get FFXIII in Japan due to it's popularity there. It seems FF sell less and less each time until one is as good or better than 6 (to most people. I liked 7 and 8, but never finished 6). They lost their rook (partial multiplatform), but saved their queen (total multiplatform in all areas).

As a gamer, and one that was all set for FFXIII knowing that I'll have to wait even longer for FFXIII due to this deal sux, but what can I do about it. It's not like I'm missing much now, we hardly know anything about it.

thats awesome! it was confirmed before, but im still really excited for this!
 
I'm amazed that Sony somehow didn't at least go for time exclusive on FFXIII, the game will be finished, but NA/EU doesn't get it until the 360 version is completed to localize it....which apparently they didn't even start on it yet!
