Camping at Silverstone with Gold tickets cost £400 in comparison - damn.

I'm not sure if we're camping At the track or nearby yet, need to discuss that with the guys that're going. A 40 m2 camping spot at the track is €160 but split between us all that wouldnt amount to much.

€2000 to sit in a yacht with an open bar, tabac corner and Monaco F1 unfolding in front of your eyes.

Daaayum I'd love to do that some day.

Nope, 1990 actually!

Yacht VIP Package

God knows where the yacht would be moored though. Still, I agree, fairly cheap considering. If I were in a better position financially I'd totally do this just for the experience.

It actually isn't surprising that it was proclaimed legal this quick when you consider this:

AUTOSPORT understands that Lotus has been in liaison with the FIA throughout the development of the brake system, having first been proposed in 2010 and been given an official green light by the governing as long ago as January last year.

The surprising thing is that they've been developing it for so long, it makes you wonder if the other teams will be able to copy it and extract good performance from it in time for the start of the season.

I'm going to the Melbourne GP, I go every year.

However I may also be able to go to Spa this year.. I'll be in Europe at the time but I'm not sure if I'll be able to get to Belgium or not.. I really hope I can!

I'm currently thinking about going to see the Italian GP this year.

My dad has a holiday home about 2 hours away from the track.

I'm so excited for this season already, if Lotus can bring it with innovation and Kimi then it might be even more epic, add a bit of Massa having to fight for his seat, this could be awesome.

Lotus started blown diffusers & now they are doing this?

They must have some good engineers/designers

I'm pretty sure the credit for the blown diffusers this time around at least (they were experimented with in the 80's) should go to Red Bull.

Lotus do have creative engineers though with the FEE and now this. Unfortunately they don't have the resources to back it up and struggle to keep up with the development speed of the top teams.

Ferrari really needs engineers like them. What was the last innovation they came up with?

Grosjean will destroy Kimi.

So are we likely to see another strong start by Lotus (Renault) who then peter-off mid-way through the season? It's already sounding like a familiar story...

If by strong, you mean running 7th to 9th, and by peter-off, you mean 12th to 15th+, then yeah, I think we are. :D

Agreed. Although if this device gives them a big boost then maybe they can nick a few podiums like they did last season before they fall down the order.

lol

Not surprising that Ferrari would complain.
Where in that article were Ferrari complaining? They were just talking about waiting to find out about the legality before giving the full go-ahead on their own project.

Its amazing what one can learn by simply READING. Too much to ask from some of you, though, I know. Fuck....

Did not see this posted.

Kubica broke his leg.
We need to get the Pope back in, I tell you what. Geezuz

Dude, calm it.

I didn't have the time to read the article earlier, I simply assumed based on how Ferrari have reacted in the past on things.

You bash my team without having even read the article and I'm gonna fuckin call you out on it.

And didn't have time my ass. If you were that strapped on time, you wouldn't have written any response.

lol wtf is going on here?

did i miss the part where webber did not pit because he could not hear team orders in spa during the race, because i cant remember bbc forum talking about it or what ever.

Watched season review for the second time, and noticed webber did not pit under the safety car because he could not hear his team tell him to box now.

even though he said im staying out right after they said box this lap lol.

i think he just acted like he did not hear them.
