A demonstration of fake smiles, right?

Wow, that's bad. It looks so ... manufactured, so fake. And I'm not talking about the photoshop capabilities of the guy who made it. It's like the crew lacks personality.Edmond Dantès;35175229 said:The Sky team.

Jake, David and Eddie are still fronting the BBC's coverage.Wow, that's bad. It looks so ... manufactured, so fake. And I'm not talking about the photoshop capabilities of the guy who made it. It's like the crew lacks personality.
I'll miss the old trio.![]()

Even the non-live, delayed coverage is in full, so the only thing non-Sky subscribers will be missing is out on is the 'live' element. That's obviously very important for the more hardcore fans, but the casuals won't mind as much. Not on every race.

Truth be told, a lot of the casuals are only watching F1 because it's on terrestrial TV at lunchtime on a Sunday and there's nothing else on. That's one of the reason why the BBC's viewing figures have been impressive. It won't be the same for Sky Sports. The hardcore only make up a fraction of the overall viewing public.doing the non-live coverage is a HUUUGE waste of money on BBCs end.
how the hell are causals supposed to not mind.
Live is a big big deal, do you see causals watch repeats of soccer games or any other popular sport?
It would great if they could achieve that, but you only have to look at the state of cricket nowadays to see what could happen with Sky Sports, especially if the BEEB drop F1 coverage altogether. The BBC were doing an excellent job bringing F1 to the masses, something ITV failed to do over 14 years.
I believe Sky can do a good job bringing the non-F1-Sky-subscribing-fan into the audience too.

"He is still the icon of motor sport," Daimler CEO Dieter Zetsche told dpa.
The report added that he believes working with Schumacher is "attractive opportunity" and that the seven-time World Champ "only" costs Mercedes GP seven million euros per year.
"I assume that they want to hide something from the competition," Newey admitted to Sport Bild. "It must be something that can be copied quite quickly; otherwise they wouldn't try so hard to keep it secret."
Helmut Marko adding: "They seem to have something special at the front of the car."
Looking forward to this front wing.
Delaying the launch of the car to hide it & now Newey getting worried about? Must be awesome!
Exactly, let's hope they're really competitive. But didn't schumi ruled out a winning car for 2012 already?
Mind games!
Glad to see that brundle is still on the telly for f1, his walks are always good.
Ted is also good to listen too mid race.
I assume the BBC will keep their gridwalk. I wonder if they'll bump into one another.
It's awkward with Brundle sometimes as well, especially when he barges in on other interviews and his unresolved sexual tension with Tanya. Even Vettel noticed that before a race.I kinda hope the BBC dont keep it. Its always a very awkward affair when its not brundle.

This is some of whats rumoured:
Very large stepped nose with cooling inlet like RBR but this one will be so large that it will be used to cool the engine, gearbox therefore completely doing away with the air intake above the driver's head.

No build-up, just straight to the start of the race. For longer races certain periods of quiet may be edited out. That's news to me. How are they going to fit the full race in a 90 minute programme?
We need pics

So bad. Why are they all wearing identical clothes? Looks so forced. They're all spread out, too, there's no chemistry there.
Not a chance in hell of them being better than Jake/EJ/DC.

At least one show does sitting around a glass table correct.

It's pretty much the only thing they do right these days, but still!
They're always going to be on location and may well copy the BBC's style of wandering around the paddock. They're also supposedly going to have their own portable studio where their version of the forum will take place, instead of using the team motor homes.I can picture it being just like a match of the day show, sat around some circle couch with a glass table in the middle talking about how vettel should have gone flat out more.
I agree with you, it's not going to be like 3 friends having a good time.
