Completely OT but recently checking out some adventures on Steam and seeing who on my friendslist owns them I tought to myself "This Dosuchin guy has a taste pretty similar to LastWindow..." :lol

See, it's not showing all of them for me. I'll choose the later option and sometimes it goes to the next letter and other times it doesn't. When it does go to the next letter I can never go beyond the second one. I mistakingly invited everyone on my list to my hotel without realizing the hotel needs upgraded, haha.

Man, just took a look at the Android exclusive Kairosoft games. We ain't missing shit. I wish they'd just move on to Game Dev Story 2.

Can anyone recommend a game that has a turn-based pace, single shot kinda gameplay (examples would be: batting in baseball, kicking in soccer, slingshotting in angry birds.) where your performance determines sucess in a narrative context (you impress the romantic interest, your dog doesn't die)?
I loved New Star Soccer for a while until it just felt like I had exhausted the social interactions with NPC meters. I want to feel a narrative progression that my dexterity determines. I tried Superstar Baseball because it REALLY looked like they were going for it, but they just added the worst part of dating sims and non-sequitur pin-ups.
I want narrative consequence to make my achievements thrilling and my failures sting.

but just in case someone does, Otome Break, SE's Love Plus-ish game, Otome Break, is now out in the App Store in Japan. http://itunes.apple.com/jp/app/id537944578
SE has released like a bazillion games in Japan since Chaos Rings 2 while everywhere else in the world they've released 4. Oh well, not that Otome Break is out of the way, FF Dimensions should follow at sometime in late August, and since it's a FF game it'll probably get a simultaneous worldwide release.

The FF Dimensions sprites looks sooo fucking terrible. Wish they looked at least like the FFI+II stuff.

I clocked it no longer than a week or so after I bought it... agreed that it's great value, but literally zero replay value in it, which blows.
yeah I only bought it because I saw you saying you had finished it so I figured it must be good and it sure was.
Not sure what to replace it with, 10000000 sounds good but I don't want something with a time limit, and Dungeon Raid sounds good but $3. Hmmmm...
It's only a time limit if you die.
It's sort of an endless runner puzzle game with rpg elements so as you level up you upgrade your equipment and point multiplier. So if you're good the games last longer, I think it's a good bus stop game, at work I park at a commuter lot and take a 10 minute shuttle to my job and have been playing a couple of rounds each way.
If I remember correctly they updated the sprites from prior demonstrations getting rid of that unusual super-sharp look.

That would be awesome. Game could be great, I mean, it has the best job system ever. I'm not holding my breath though.

Real Racing 3 announced, looks like NFS now that EA have their dirty fingers all over it.
Megatroid is rather cool but simple, freemium random generated platformer.

I really, REALLY liked Snooker Club and Pool Bar. They're basically the same game (same developers) but it just depends on what type of pool you like playing. I actually got a lot of mileage out of both, and the online multiplayer was a nice surprise.

Not much. Most notable in the last few days for me has been a sale on Hunters 2 ($0.99). Other than that, nothing has inspired me to take my nose out of FFT -- about 90 hours and counting.
I never thought of playing a pool game on iPhone. What's the difference... just snooker or pool?

Wow, I bit the bullet and signed up for tapjoy last night. I was concerned at first due to having to install it and the fact that it seemed sort of "scammy", but it has worked flawlessly every time I've used it.
I'm wreckin' shop I'm Dead Trigger now with my Enfield and level two M4 and auto-heal. I might do a few more offers and even pick up the coin and damage doublers.
I'm really impressed and surprised that Tapjoy works, but I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth.

So far I'm loving Trigger Fist. Almost feels like a SOCOM clone. The fact you can't move your gun up and down makes this game really enjoyable. Quick look from TA. I'm GoHoosiers if you want to get some games going:
