I can.

It's just a game at the end of the day. We've had a great run in the last 15 years.

I actually find our current situation quite interesting, and am fascinated to see how the entire Australian cricket administration responds.

Sure it's a game but I am used to seeing our side trounce the competition, it's a healthy dose of humble pie I'm having to eat presently :lol

If only we could replicate the performance of Haddin/Hussey for our top order, we won't be in such a dreadful position this series.

Hussey and Haddin are the only two shining lights for Australia this series, and both are getting on a bit. The rest of the side needs to hang their heads in shame.

Ponting, Clarke, Hughes (lol), Clarke (GTFO), North, Johnson, Doherty, Bollinger and Siddle all need a kick up the pants.

If clarke ever gets the captaincy then things will get much worse. Field placements will be announced via twitter.

edit: at least when Haddin steps aside Paine will be there as a potentially good replacement.

Johnson was minging,
so Australia got rid of him,
but then he got brought back,
cause the replacements were all crap,
and now he's their savior,
he's their king,

edit: fuck you got to be kidding me....
Edit: same fucking minute as I posted. :lol

Looks like Johnson has finally remembered that at one stage he actually had batting talent.

He is the only player we got that could save us with his bowling. The rest of the bowlers don't have the figures.

This is fucking sad, all talk no action

1/396 is what England will be on at the end of day 2. It has been foretold.

No, 13/96. As in we get them all out and send them in again and they're 13/96 at the end of day 2.

Come on, I'm trying to be optimistic...

missing salazar right now.

Alas, I was at a non-cricket-watching party from 11:00 to 5:00 :lol

I would like to register my glee at Australia's misfortune. Bwahahaha, and so on. Motherfuckers will be ground into a still finer dust tomorrow.

It's always bad when a bowler is going to be your top scorer in an innings

He has a better strike rate and has been in better form than johnson in recent series.

I think he has been our best bowler the past 2 years he just never takes enough wickets, consistently unlucky with his bowling. Mitchell is the only bowler we have that takes big hauls of wickets if we are to win he needs to fire

Siddle and Hilfenhaus to open the next innings. Let real men open the batting

:lol They seriously batted with less nerves and a more positive attitude than the top 4. Funny but also a sad indictment on our top order.

Siddle did the right thing and waited it out.
edit: 65% of Australians think 3+ wickets are going to fall by the end of the day in that phone vote. Their not very optimistic are they? :p

Watching this bowling is so frustrating. They need to be using their natural angle to the left handers but instead, they're bowling straight and at the body. Strauss and Cook are so strong off their hips so why are they bowling this trash?

Johnson was actually bowling surprisingly well. That yorker from the 2nd (3rd?) last ball to Strauss looked really difficult to keep out. It actually had a bit of outswing too, which I've never seen from him before.

Good to hear. Am hitting Freycinet and Cradle Mountain. Dunno where else except for Hobart.

Going to be nutsack-destroyingly cold, though.

Can we just play our 5 bowlers and have them bat twice?

Johnson 62
Siddle 35
Watson 13
Hilfenhaus 13
Harris 3
+
wicket keeper
Haddin 53
+ 1 specialist batsman
Hussey 61
= a good idea.

Your batting line up just need to calm the fuck down. And last a few overs.

Tendulkar out, but Harbhajan is starting to tee off,105/6 now.

Edit: Harbhajan run out off a no-ball dropping his bat :lol 110/7

Edit2 : Sharma out for a duck 110/8, at least the Aussies had some sort of fightback, this is more like a WI side at the mo.

Edit 3 : 130/9 will India get to 150? :lol
