Hamelin redeemed. Dude was fucking nuts out there.

What a miracle it was a clean race. Canada played strategically amazing. They switched up the passes. Didn't pass with everyone else near the end of the race.

CANADA CANADA

Congrats to Canada- I'd say that about wraps up the gold medal race.

Canada wooping some ass. Owning the podium indeed!

Apollo sucks. Celski single handedly saved the day!
He has disappointed this Olympics.. kinda reminds me of Lindsay Vonn. Didn't fully live up to the hype this year.

The only way USA can catch up in Golds is if they upset Canada in speedskating and hockey.

What about bobsled? And really upset them in hockey? We've beaten them once.

Well, US has a great shot to get gold in 4 man bobsled, and a puncher's chance in hockey. Not sure what other medal events are left after those two.

We're now tied with LA 1984 for most Canadian golds ever in an Olympics, and tied with Norway with 10 for the most golds ever by a host nation. And I know we've got at least one more gold in us :D

If the US wins it's a huge upset. We were two goal underdogs last time, I'd imagine it's about the same on Sunday

They will probably win bobsled, but they would still be 1 down- and Canada has men's curling in addition to the 2 gold medal events against the USA. USA would probably have to sweep those 2 and win bobsled.

And yeah. I would call it an upset if the US can beat them twice in Canada.

Edit- US is still alive in the women's speedskating pursuit, but I assume they are underdogs.

She had an exaggerated excuse though and actually won a gold despite it.

So the US could get the most silver, bronze and 1 less gold than whoever is in the lead and its still be looked down on? Amazing. There should not be any second or third places then.

Congrats on the golds Canada. If it couldn't be the US, I'd want them to go to you.

On another note, I believe the US has a good chance at breaking the record for most total medals in a winter olympics (36 by Germany at Salt Lake).

Canada has a pretty good chance at a Gold in Men's curling as well right?

Nice work men's short track! I sat down and watched two back to back gold medals. Totally unexpected and awesome!

Canada first out right in the medal standings, congrats guys! Australia is having its best ever Winter Olympics too! GO US.

I cant believe how amazingly well these games turned out for Canada. After the first few days of choking and the early hockey woes, things looked bleak. This past week has been amazing.

I was going to ask what the record was. And yeah, they have already guaranteed a tie (2 medals coming in hockey and men's speedskating team pursuit.), and unless they crash will get a medal in the bobsled for at least 37.

Amazing performance for USA.
