Nah, I don't play on servers with silly settings!

Also I'm having to play online gaming a bit less this week, this area's being hit with lots of heavy storms :/

We use the normal scrimmage settings for scrims. Not the no kits at all one.

CEVO settings are very fair and fun, and not in the sadistic i'm running around with 1 HP b/w kind of fun. We're up for a match anytime though, gives us a break from getting destroyed by god teams.

Holy crap, the Vienna Calling campaign is... horrible.
Really badly made stuff-stairs, stuff you can fall into and never get back out of, locked survivor closets, one guy that spawns off the map...
Stay away at all costs, when they said "valve-worthy campaign" on the download page, they lied.

I hate Turvy. Instead of buying Demon's Souls, the BEST RPG THIS GENERATION, like I recommended him to, he recommends this SHIT map instead. GOOD GOD MAN, WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU?

I played the Austria campaign with Scarlet and some others and it was pretty fun. Visually some parts looked rather rough, but nothing that bad. Other than some glitches I didn't think it was that bad.

If you fall into that non-damaging water in the sewer (happens every time so far with a new player) or if someone doesn't spawn in the same area (only happened the last time, out of 3 plays), all you do is 'take a break' and the AI warps to the other characters. Old knowledge.

You guys (duck and co) don't like any custom maps.

I fucking loved Vienna Calling. Despite all the bugs, I liked it better than Crash Course. The finale just felt lazy imo

Prolly. We only got wiped once when I did play it but now can do it shorter since we know where to go. Fun stuffs though.

Vienna is the only custom campaign that I've played and I thought it was pretty good. Not sure how I'd like it on multiple play throughs, but I enjoyed it the first time. Lot better than I thought custom campaigns would be.

Going through your link it gives me some kind of error, saying unknown's friend list is full. Tried doing it through the Steam client itself and I think it worked, but I'm not sure.

Edit:

Nope, definitely didn't. If you make room add Nintendohero to your list. Should be on for a while.

Anyone else want in on a GAF game?

What time are you planning on starting? Roomates using my tv to play Uncharted 2 :[

On another note, I tried out versus for the first time today and man I wasn't expecting what i got. It's quite hard, the amount of co - ordination / strategy needed is insane. I kept alternating between smoker / hunter and tried to catch the survivors alone but man it was like they were always one step ahead of me.

So GAF,

I have a business trip next week.. which pretty much means that Left 4 dead will be my gaming choice.

Do any of y'all still play? My Steam name is stooge_zoot.

Also, what custom campaigns do y'all use (if any) so I can get them downloaded. I've been playing Dead Aboard lately and it is pretty well made, but seems much easier and less hectic than the stock campaigns.

Yeah, sorry... my project was stuck in crunch for a couple of months but we just finished and I'm back! Looking forward to those server settings too!

For L4D2, I might pick a chicago or st.louis server instead of new york so the ones in Japan and on the west coast get a tad better ping.
