I have both versions. Haven't touched the 360 in a month because the jackassery is so ridiculous. Every single game at least one person will fuck things up for everyone else by glitching, exploiting, or just plain blocking pathways so the game is forced to end.
With regard to the 360, I've seen a group of four people melee the generator in front of the elevator until it moved. It took about 45 seconds with all four people pounding on it, but we inched it away little by little. I'm not sure if thats always a viable solution, but particularly for the elevator it's pretty solid because you're bunkered in there anyway (for a while three people would hammer on it and one would shoot until it was almost done and that worked fantastic)

Just about sums it up for me. When i find a game of good people its damn good fun. Im always telling my team "Lets be nice/fair" and not use the door near the lift and actually take the lift. Dont block anything ect.. ect... Other team repays us will blocking everything possible in our path never bothering to even fight us and of course using the door opposite of the lift
Anyways with all the glitchs/problems (360 version) I cant stop playing this game. Its amazing!

afaik next dlc is the next two on versus and a new campaign. of course it's not really dlc on the pc, more like support.

hey guys, glad to finally talk some Left 4 Dead with ya. steamid is is same as the GAF username, but a lot of you already know that. Had some great games so far, looking forward to some more. BTW, the patch is great, although I'm no fan of equal tanks & witches (giving the second team a more strategic advantage imo). Still, this is probably the best game I've played all generation. Not much compares IMO.

For the record, I think that the ability to barricade doors with physics objects would be a cool feature if it wasn't an exploit. I suppose it isn't very "zombie-like" behavior, but it would be an interesting mechanic if the survivors had the ability to move the shit out the way with only a little bit of effort.

Also, I learned today that if you open and then shut the alarm door really quickly, special infected still can't move through it as -ghosts-. This is the same breakable-by-normal-zombies-after-alarm-door the tank can't break (but can throw rocks through, like saferoom doors).
Also the same door that the tank routinely spawns beyond, so that you have very little chance of making it up the back stairs, crouched through the vent you have to break, down through the floor, out up onto the girders unless you immediately know what to do. The first two guys didn't know tonight, so we got the AI tank, awesome!
