I didnt really want him to turn out to be a nice guy or anything like that, but he went from chill assassin type to bonkers psychopath in this chapter. I liked it more when I knew he killed his clan to test how strong he was, now he kind of seems like a bitch feeling weak compared to Madara and needing to farm his brothers eyes.

Yeah, I thought the most sensible "twist" would be that Itachi was desperate to escape from M's clutches shortly after M found him years back. So he hatched a plot to get Sasuke strong enough that the two of them together could throw off M's yoke. This is kinda weak. Itachi seemed to be far more deliberate up to this point.

Naruto has been so fraustrating for me lately to say the least. Itachi has always been one of those characters that kishi just handled remarkably in terms of sculpting. There are some others that I won't mention but like those too, he has just massacred the character. Itachi was always this composed and precise character and suddenly hes raving mad almost. From the way he handled and subdued his partner without much hassle. To his general interaction with characters. In the chapter he's introduced to Deidara, dei predictably looses it with being over confident, and itachi outclasses him at every turn. Yet all of a sudden it's like he's taking on dei's traits.
As for other bits, like I mentioned somewhere else I don't get how Itachi mentioned madara as the first and only to unlock permanent ms. Yet he says the clan has ''killed their siblings to gain its power permanently!''. I think its getting too much for me at the moment.

btw, I wonder if Luffy will get Ace? Seems redundant to do another prison break arc, so I'm guessing either A) someone else will get him out, B) he'll get himself out, or most likely C) he'll join the government and Luffy will have to fight him down the line.

Why would he ever join the government? I think Ace being captured will just be used by the WG to basically blackmail White Beard and try to weaken the pirate age

Looks like Itachi is really close to poking an eye out.

Also, apparently Sasuke can summon shurikens on his wrists, which actually explains an earlier plot detail against his battle with Deidara when he brought out shurikens out of nowhere.

That was a pretty awesome chapter for Naruto.

My guess is that Sasuke will lose one eye and in doing make his remaining eye far more powerful and that gives him the edge to win the fight. I mean, Kakashi has trouble using the Sharingan because he is not a pure blood Uchiha, his was transplanted. So basically we can somewhat assume that using the Sharingan using some chakra or something inside the Uchiha. If you take away one of the eyes, that would double the power of the other eye then, right? something like that.

Basically what makes me think this fight isnt over yet is Sasuke not using his CS and Itachi not using any MS attacks (granted, he could have been avoiding using them because they would have killed Sasuke and stopped his plans for getting his eyes). If it was a fight to the death, Itachi could have done that black fire attack and killed Sasuke instantly.

Brook is a fencer not a swordsmen. And as a fencer myself I can assure you there is a big diffence between the two. And Brook's devil fruit is hilarious. It is completely useless now but because he became a skeleton on chance, he is more powerful than ever

Can he be killed now though, since he has his shadow back. Sure if you chop him apart, but he will be harder to kill perhaps. Looking forward to some scenes when he is split apart... Creative attacks hopefully

He could always be killed, even when he lost his shadow. And even though they had his head split upon (with Afro too :lol ) I think that was just a one time gag then a special ability. But then again, who knows with ONe Piece
