I too am really disliking this sasuke v itachi fight

I mean... Sasuke is winning this thing WAYYYY to easily...

And if he beats Itachi this easy.. then if he and naruto ever fight.. there will be NO reason what so ever to have Naruto win..

I mean.. at least have the two brothers have a HARD fought fight.. I mean this fight is supposed to be the crowning moment of Sasuke's life.. let it be alittle more dramatic than this..

Give him some depth.. make his DETERMINATION be the difference between the brothers... not his apparent super speed or his immunity to mangekyou

When Itachi pulled the one eye out I was Soo happy ... I was just thinking of all the places they could go with this... And then... boom... all lies... its ridiculous.. All i know is that Sasuke BETTER get some kind of eternal scar from itachi or I'm done with Naruto

At least the fight is almost over. I can't believe i'm saying that about the rematch between Itachi and Sasuke but it's nothing compared to battles between more powerful characters. And Sasuke is really using the Cursed Seal form just for taking damage. He lost another wing. Does he not care what will happen right after this battle ends?

Kishi : Started with Sasuke vs Itachi battle.
I'm gonna write about mainly Sasuke next year. And Kakashi and Sakura, after that. Especially Kakashi. I can't tell yet but a huge event will happen to him.

The Uchiha storyline is also far from finished, what with Madara coming into play.

Hmmm...personally I'd rather do a "SAVE ACE" arc since Ace is freaking awesome than a Mermaid island arc, but we already had Thriller Bark be a sidestep on the way to this island, so I don't know if Oda would do another side journey. Also considering we just did a prison break arc with Enis Lobby it'd be kinda redundant to do one again.

Anyhow I hope next chapter has Ace!

Did you forget about Madara? The main villain of the series is a Uchiha. The Uchiha storyline is pretty much the entire storyline of Naruto. As Madara ties into the entire plot.

Then they roll their eyes when he wins with surprising ease. Bleach's biggest problem right now is that it's dragging a lot. Naruto went through the same shit.

Just pretty funny that Bleach is all of a sudden a failure of a series because it's main character exhibits traits exactly like the one you attempt to prop up.

Yeah... Kishi needs to give some more 'umph' to his confidence. I think he's had a boost after deafeating that Akatsuki guy with a million hearts.


I think what Hero said about Ichigo is funny, but somehow true. He's cocky. Really damn cocky... he kind of doesn't think things through. He doesn't realize things until he's had his ass handed to him. Not his fault though... Kubo Tite has written him into a pretty shabby arc. Hope it picks up the pace a bit more.

Naruto had a boost after beating Kakuzu, but the thing is, Kishi hasn't done anything with him since that point and it's been all Sasuke ever since then (very brief run-ins with Kabuto and Tobi don't count)

As for Itachi, his Akatsuki cloak is now off, that's usually a death sign there (all we need now is a flashback).

The thing is Kishi has too many characters and not enough chapters to devote to them all. While I agree Naruto being out of the limelight for so long (a handful of appearances out of the last two volumes) does hurt his shonen main character image, at the same time this has the potential for him to blow everyone's expectations away when he does get back into it. Also, I'm sure that news of Jiraiya's death will kick him into even further motivation.

I personally think Kishi is just trying to build Sasuke up as high as he can just so when Naruto beats him it'll mean that much more.

It'll be interesting to see what happens, Itachi will die if we go by the code so far, but I don't know, Sasuke seems to really be out of options. Hopefully Itachi will at least take something away from Sasuke after all is said and done.

I liked Ichigo's characterization in the earlier arcs, but now he's pretty lame. There's too much burden on his shoulders and so it's all emo. I think Bleach misses its potential by trying so hard to be cool. Maybe I should have seen it coming when they showed Ichigo's bankai to be... a black suit.

As I have said before, since the time skip, Kishimoto has shifted focus from character to plot (a.k.a the Uchiha Chronicles). It is for that reason that the fights have been so boring, because fights are mechanisms to express and interact characters.

For example, contrast the pathetic Sakura-Ino fight pre-time skip to the Sasuke-Deidara fight. While the Sasuke fight was more "exciting," (though I hardly find Deux ex Machina exciting) the Sakura-Ino fight had character development, and at least for me, more interesting. Of course, pre-time skip also had the backstories and character focuses on an array of interesting characters (Neji, Gaara, Lee, etc.), while still having exciting fights that did not rely on the crazy Deux ex Machina we see now with Sasuke.

It is said in the mythologies that Amaterasu was born when some person zenagi?? Begun washing his face. When he washed his left eye Amaterasu was said to have been born. When he washed his right eye Tsukyomi was said to have been born and when he washed his nose Susanowo was born.

Now looking at how Itachi has used his mangekyou attacks thus far it is obvious that the eyes have been reversed compared to the mythology and Itachi is about to use some technique that involves the use of his nose. (My assumption)

So that is why if Itachi is to use Susanowo he does NOT require his eyes to do so.

I'm at the very least happy to see that Itachi has a trump of some kind even though I didn't at all expect to own this fight as much as he did then again Itachi was far more competitive until he used the Tsukyomi and it didn't work so it hurt his vision greatly.

Also no need to be concerned about Naruto because once he finds out that Jiraiya is dead and that Jiraiya was not just the person that named him, but his godfather along with the fact that the 4th was his father. Naruto will begin stepping his game up. Interested to see what happens once Naruto gets his hands on that scroll frog and he provides him with the key to unlock the 9 tail's chakra. Eager to find out why the 4th sealed in inside Naruto the way he did.

BUT it is important that people know (incase they don't already) that this year according to Kishi is about Sasuke for the most part along with Sakura and Kakashi. Kishi has said something MAJOR event is coming for Kakashi, but he didn't specify. I would love for it to be that the sharingan has perfectly aligned itself with his body and it no longer caues him to become easily fatigued. Or perhaps he'll even become Hokage.

Kishi said Jiraiya is dead because Naruto needed to be grown up and he said Sakura also needed to be grown up which hints to... a possible Tsunade death
