I already have the Japanese Crisis Core PSP, will be importing the USA game to actually play in English, and can't turn down that special Euro pre-order edition. S-E taking all my monies

I'm actually LESS excited avout Crisis Core than when I bought my PSP months ago. I bought my PSP mainly because of Crisis Core, but with playing a ton of great games on the PSP recently, I don't feel the urgent need to pick it up like I would have a year ago. I am still buying it of course, with the CC deal.

Maybe it has to do with getting addicted to Monster Hunter recently? :lol

Last night I spent an hour or so upgrading to 3.90, ripping all 3 discs of FFVII, and converting them into one consolidated, compressed PSP executable. I've got CC preordered from Amazon, but who knows when I'll actually get it.

Fuck Dirge of Cerberus, but I am giving FFVII another shot. It's always bugged me that I lost interest at disc 3 (back when I had played the PC version, well before I purchased a Sony console)...

Yessir. POPS versions 3.71 (IIRC) and up have support for multi-disc eboots, which makes disc switching on-the-fly and transparent. I just tested it today by loading up my FFVII save (one hour into the game) after having software resetted into disc 2, and then disc 3. Upon loading the save, the game prompts you to switch to disc 1. Easily done. It just so happens that 3.71 is also the first version of POPS that runs FFVII perfectly! Perfect!

I would have at least given the game a 9 or 9.5 in graphics. Some of the bosses looked iincredible in the game.

Does anyone know if there is a hard difficulty in the North American version? I read that the UK version included a hard mode that was not in the original Japanese release, but I didn't see anything about the American version.

It's the least they can do for asking me to walk through their depressing, dimly lit store. Seriously, Circuit City might want to try mixing in a few light bulbs > 40 watts. I will have to bring a flashlight with me when I go to pick the game up.
