Spoilers show that Clark receives the crystal back by an anonymous package and when he activates it, the crystal sucks him and Lois into the Phantom Zone. My guess is that "Chloiac" is responsible for this happening. However, I still think Chloe is partially intact which means at times she might be a normal person.

I was thinking something similar to this after tonight's episode. It reminds me of JLU when it was discovered that Braniac had been living in Lex's body the whole time.

ill take this time to point out that erica durance is suddenly so fucking hot. overall she wont pass kristin kreuk imo, but her body....mmmmmmmmm

Erica Durance has always been way hotter than Kristin Kreuk, the overall picture is so much better. And she really looked hot this episode.

personally ive found KK more attractive, but erica has always had so many more...curves but a manly face. now she looks hot =D

cant wait for tonight, being a smallville faithful is paying off

This season has been great. I really like they way they are incorporating Doomsday into the show.

Am I the only one hating this is the last season with how this new writing and production team have handled this season so far?

Original comic book Doomsday was also created by scientist Bertron on Krypton, but that was way before criptonian human rase came to power.

Very nice episode, cant wait to see next one...

When I first heard that Doomsday was a regular guy, I thought it was going to suck donkey balls. BUT they are doing a decent job with his arc and the season overall. Best Smallville season we've had since what, season 3 or 4?

Awesome! Although if WB was smart they would let him actually put on the suit and use Tom Welling and Smallville as a way to reboot the Superman movie franchise.

Season has been pretty good so far, a lot better than the past ones I watched. However, it's going to suck when
Lana comes back into the picture. Why can't they just get rid of her for good?

It's only for a couple episodes.

I'd rather them give her a proper send off than a video she taped for Clark because she was shooting a horrible Street Fighter movie at the time.

I thought she was on board for like, 6?
Doesn't matter, I'm just worried he'll revert back to old stupid love lost Clark when she pops back up again. Then again, the odds of that happening are slim since this is the last season(right?) and they're pushing the whole Clark/Louis angle now
. Guess I'll try and be optimistic.

oh and I may just have to swoop on that Best Buy deal. That's too cheap to pass up.

From what I know:
Clark does kiss Lana at least once but ultimately lets her know that it is over. Lana is scheduled for 5 episodes and apparently they have something planned for her story arc that the writers claim will make a lot of people happy.

Also in this episode, Doomsday happens. Goes on a massacre at the wedding. I still think they get married though.

So couple of things I still don't really understand.

-The blackouts Davis has, what happens during them and why does he have them
-After being killed and somewhat reborn into his 'true' form, he gets powers like Clark. But is he just like a Kryptonian, or does he have other abilities?
-Davis after being reborn still appears to have his own personality, yet when looking at next weeks preview he already looks somewhat evil. So does he really become all evil and shit just because he now has "great power", and it's just corrupting him?
-WHY THE FUCK CAN'T CLARK FLY YET. Really, it's getting ridiculous. I mean, in the episode Kal-El took over Clark's body, he could fly, he had some telekinesis shit going on with that diamond in Lex's plain. So why is it taking so long.

1. He turns into Doomsday, goes killing people.

2. He isn't Kryptonian. He was created by the strongest creatures from krypton. He has super strength, speed, ect like superman but also can recover from almost any wound and gets stronger from it(which is why he healed and became more powerful from the stab wound). He is the same strength as superman and they both kill each other at the end(that isn't a spoiler, it's from the comics). I'm pretty sure kryptonite doesn't effect him.

3. The darkness inside him(doomsday) is getting harder to control and the blavkouts are happening more. It is probably finally taking him over.

- Clarks just being a dick. He will probably be forced to start flying soon.

2. Does he also have the freezing breath, laser eyes and flying abilities? If so, he'd really be superior in every way. And in the state Clark is in in Smallville, normally he'd never be able to beat him or even kill each other (which of course won't happen in Smallville)

3. Ok so he really does lose self-control.

I think that was one of the stipulations laid out by DC when they show kicked off. He's not allowed to fly. The only exceptions was when he wasn't "himself." They may let him fly in the series finale though, since that would make since. I could be wrong though.

Yeah, I read that one yesterday. If it does turn out like that, then that's cool. They've been doing a lot of stuff right this last season, only thing missing is Michael Rosenbaum :( Guess he's really not coming back.

No, I think his greatest ability is adapting to any attack and healing from any damage. I'm 90% sure he doesn't have other abilities like heat vision or freezing breath.

He doesn't. He's more like The Hulk than he is Superman, really. Just like Hulk he can use his mass and strength to build up speed, and he can jump incredibly long distances. He is all about strength though, and can't fly, and doesn't have special vision or breath abilities.

Hmm. This balances things a bit... but it's also rather silly. If Superman would be about to lose a fight, he could just fly away and Doomsday wouldn't be able to do shit about it. It's also strange that an experiment made by the strongest creatures of Krypton doesn't even have all the abilities a Kryptonian has, doesn't make sense to only improve some aspects, and delete others (important ones).

Heat vision and freezing wouldn't do shit against superman though and seeing as doomsday can adapt it wouldn't effect him either. Doomsday is about pure power. Also if superman flew away, Doomsday would just heal back to full anyway. He could also easily get him to come back by attack things around the area, superman wouldn't let him destroy a whole area.

Yeah you got a point there. And about those powers, I didn't really mean that it's strange he doesn't have them just to attack superman. Just in general, why would you create a new being and delete additional powers? Not like superman is the only enemy in the universe, but ok.

Maybe no creatures on krypton had those powers except kryptonians them self?

Clark's abilities in Smallville are:


-Wind breath
-Laser/fire eyes
-X-Ray vision
-Super Hearing
-Slow down perception of time
-Super strength
-Super Speed
-Invincibility (except from Kryptonite)


So far that is all. New episode comes on in less then an hour. :D
