And the trend of Ps4 exclusives failing to Convince me to buy a ps4 Continues.
Twisted Metal was absolutely fantastic. I was the opposite of burned. Better than any PS4 exclusive Sony have made so far. Hell it's up there with the best Sony made Vita exclusives. It's just a shame the online didn't work as well as it should have.I'd fit the bill as a PS fanboy, having prefered PS systems since 1995. But Sony exclusives have been very hit and miss to me since halfway through the PS3 generation. They aren't the type of games I blindly buy. I've been burned by GT5, Twisted Metal, Killzone 3 and more. My Ps4 introduction started with the terrible Shadow Fall. Knack I borrowed and was also shit.
Infamous Second Son was actually good value, but not as good as Infamous 2 imho (the game is lacking something). Driveclub has also been good value so far, though it was a complete mess during launch.
I honestly think I will like The Order much more than Knack or SF, it might even be a Resistance 3 surprise to me. Who knows. But I have a hard time buying this for the full whack right now.
On what planet did people expect The Order to review well?
Really? multiple 80%+ ratings on Meta suggests nothing but GFX?
Meh, seems like a game I'd be interested in, but not for $60. I'll wait 'till it's on sale.
Ryse has a coop component. Just having that adds some replay value.
No, the claim is that The Order isn't fun while many reviewers liked what they did in Asura's Wrath. I don't know what you're confused about; just because games have similar mechanics, it doesn't mean that they're executed in the same way, as you can clearly see.
Metro UK
The Order 1886 - 4/10
Halo: The Master Chief Collection - 8/10

The Order 1886 - 4.5/10
Halo: The Master Chief Collection - 7.5/10

The Order 1886 - 1/5
Halo: The Master Chief Collection - 4.5/5

The Order 1886 - 5.5/10
Halo: The Master Chief Collection - 9.5/10 initial review, 8/10 revised review
And yet ... Halo: The Master Chief Collection is STILL broken after 100 days.
This fucking industry.
Multiplats are also a great reason to get a PS4.
Is this the part where we pretend that GoW brings something to the table other than graphics?

Sony strikes out again.
Naughty Dog is Sony's only saving grace first party wise.
Isn't that just the US?
Because The Order will not get that much.
OMG!!!
I'm dying here....have to breath....wow
People need to watch this...I agree with the guy that said this is better than the Hitler Subtitle videos.

TLOU has a lot of actual gameplay btw. Theres branching paths along the way, thing you can do in certain areas (shiv doors and safes), a crafting and upgrade system, and its a hell of a lot longer of a game.
You have to be open world, you have to put the player always in control, you need at least a decent co-op mode, you need replayability with tons of useless fetch quests. If you try to innovate within that formula is the icing on the cake.
Those are the guidelines if you want to make a well recevied/scored game today.
This is absolutely not true. I mean just look at TLOU.

Yeah, I agree. Most of my favorite series are multiplat (Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Elder Scrolls, Fallout, MGS, etc.) and I chose the PS4 because of the better hardware.Multiplats are also a great reason to get a PS4.

lol dead wrong

Max Payne 3 was also viewed quite favorably, and Max Payne 3 is arguably the closest thing to The Order if you needed to compare it to something.

3 and Ascension are garbage. This is a terrible post. God of War is one of the absolute best action titles ever made. Not because of the graphics. Because of how it actually plays. You've brought great shame to your family.
To me, The Order feels a lot like Uncharted 1. It's RAD's first attempt at a PS4 game (like Uncharted was ND's PS3 game). It's SP only, it's not the longest game, and the gameplay gets repetitive, but it opens their doors for future projects. Their PSP GoW games were fantastic, so I have no problem buying The Order if it means they can branch out with The Order 2.
I agree. They have to keep making bad God of War games.
Why not? Ready at Dawn will probably be making it.
There's more to Sony exclusives than those games. If they didn't like those, what convinced them The Order was going to be like Halo?Maybe they don't enjoy Gran Turismo, God of War, etc? I know I don't.
Not really; it's at 65 on Metacritic right now and will probably go lower once all's said and done.lol dead wrong

I think there was some very serious online problems with the game around release that never truly got fixed and killed the community.

The fact that reviewers have double standards depending on the game and its developer/publisher is clearly true.
But the problem with The Order is that the game tries to do something that many people (particularly among the press) nowadays simply don't appreciate.

RAD decided to make an interactive movie with third person shooter sections, they're getting shit for it. Same shit that David Cage and others got plain and simple.
The way they handled their PR which was stupidly shady, trying to hide what the game was for too long (because they knew that it wasn't what most people wanted) didn't help.
Still there is a market for these titles. There are people who actually like these kind of experiences so it's up to them if this game will be successful on the market or not.

This is where I'm getting it from. Not sure if that's just NPD sales or not. Since it doesn't specify, my guess would be worldwide.
Really? The PS4 has a much bigger install base than Xbone had at that time.
