I'm scratching my head as to why Chris Jericho came back to become a jobber.

Who has he beaten since returning? Santino? :lol

So far Cena is 2 for 2 with ending shows with his music.

not at all. He's lost almost every match to interference or disqualification. WWE listened to the fans it seems and is making him work his way back up, after the horrible decision of putting him right from debut to main event.

jericho will get back there. and earn his way back to do it. nothing wrong with that.

had you called it last night before his entrance, you would have been amazing. calling it tonight just stops you from being the dumbest one in the thread. :D

Wow, a CLEAN finish.
I just noticed this... how the hell was that a clean finish? That was probably one of the most unclean finishes ever! Hell, they even referenced it in the broadcast of being a play on the Armageddon ending.

What do they see in Cena? I turn the channel every time he opens his mouth. He might be capable in the ring (he's okay, at best), but his mic skills need work. It makes me realize how talented wrestlers like Stone Cold and The Rock really were.

Wrestling is guilty of not being able to let go. As much as I like HBK, Flair, and other wrestlers, it's just time for them to move on. They need to make way for younger wrestlers. Right now, the entire industry is stagnant. The writing is absolutely awful and a lot of the remaining talent from WWF, WCW, and ECW has turned the industry into a self parody. I question why people still watch it because I sure as hell don't find it entertaining. Sometimes I wish they would wipe the slate clean and start over. From scratch. It will never happen, but one can hope.

Kofi Kingston could be big if handled properly.

It's just sad that he was given such a shitty jobber to deal with in his debut match on ECW. Roided up fucker couldn't even sell the monkey flip right.

The problem is that people still show up for the old guys, and the show would suffer without them until the newer guys are properly handled. I agree with you about the clean slate thing, though... I wanted them to do a storyline when they switched networks (back to USA) that someone bought them out from under Vince and was gonna start all over or something. Then I hoped Congress would shut them down for awhile so they could brainstorm some good ideas, etc. Maybe it'll happen one day. But I doubt it. :\

I just watched Kofi's debut on Youtube. Was that jobber trying to fuck up every one of Kofi's big spots? :lol

Is that Macho Man in the original post? :lol

Na, that's Jay Lethal a pretty talented wrestler. He started doing Macho Man imitations and the crowd got behind it. He asked Macho Man himself if he could use the gimmick and Savage gave him his blessing.

It seems camera phones can't be used at WWE events anymore for recording/taking pix... what a stupid policy.

Source: PWInsider.com

WWE has created two new policies that are intended to protect their product but may be turning fans away and eating into company profits.

-- At last weekend's Royal Rumble PPV, the company adopted a new policy that any fans caught taking photos or video with their cell phones at WWE events will be ejected from the building. WWE has had its staff specifically instruct building employees to be on the lookout for people using their cell phones during the events. According to live reports, many fans were were confronted at the PPV and threatened with ejection. Strangely enough, digital and film cameras are still allowed.

That was Kofi Kingston? He's looks half the size of his promo videos. They must of been filmed pre-wellness.

I watched the Cena entrance at RR about 10 times today before Youtube removed it. That came out of nowhere and blew me away, and I'm not even a Cena fan. Made me glad I'm a wrestling fan...
until he took out HHH. GO GAME.

Sliiiiightly. He's still really big.

Why wouldn't he be? He's 100% all built from training. No chemicals there, unless you count the adrenaline of thuganomics, fellate fellate /cenadefenseforce

John cena has neve done any muscle enhancing drugs if you saw him back when he was bodybuilding or any of his promos he said he never touched a drug.

So I havent watched wrestling in like 10 years but I caught the Royal Rumble the other night. Is it just me or did these guys get alot smaller. Did they finally crack down on steroid abuse? Was it because of the Benoit thing?

"Even if I had, you couldn't prove it" amirite

Wow! After reading the Smackdown spoilers for this week a minute ago I can't believe 1 of the 2 matches they announced for N.W.O.
a Smackdown Elimination Chamber match too? Hopefully having 2 Elimination Chambers at one PPV isn't overkill.

Personally, I think it is overkill. I mean it is the same match twice in one event for the same prize. There is nothing diffeent but stars.

Teddy Long comes out and says that due to Vickie Guerrero's injury, he is in charge. Long announced that No Way Out will feature an Elimination Chamber match with Undertaker vs. Batista vs. MVP vs. Finlay vs. Great Khali vs. Big Daddy V to determine who will challenge for the WWE World championship at Wrestlemania 24.

:lol

....sure he hasn't....

He's taken the needle a few times, don't kid yourself. You don't come back THAT quick frm a total muscle tear with just "hard work and some faith". There's something chemical there too.

Not that it's a big deal, all those fuckers are on something.

"Even if I had, you couldn't prove it" amirite You just don't make that comment if you're not hiding something.

that comment was proven to be taken out of context. we discussed it here.

Just look at the guy during his "Prototype" days, he was juicing then. He's smaller now, but he DEFINETLY has hitting something in those days.

I still stand by the claim about his "miraculous" recovery from a total tear of his pectoral.

There's really no way to take that out of context. Even with the added footage, that statement is very plain to understand.
