I have already decided to DVR the show, and look at it afterwards. Seeing arm wrestling and then ass kissing as the main stuff on the into will do that to ya!

Why is the show recorded? Any reason other than they don't fucking care anymore?

Why don't they just do a Japan Raw, the last one was pretty good.

Well for some reason I just don't feel like watching Raw tonight (maybe I'll watch the recording tomorrow)... to Burnout it is then!

It's taped? Well dammit. Oh well, time to get some strawberry milk mix and drink down the awesome while playing some gaymes!

This main event is interesting. (And also a benefit of a taped show only part watching)

but on one team you got HBK, Hardy and Jericho so full of win.
On the other team is Umaga, Snitsky and JBl.... so yeah

Cena's music plays at the end.CONFIRMED :D

You know the way the WWE is working this all.
Really the smartest business move I think would have Cena going over Orton and have Hardy win the Elimination Chamber.

Cena/Hardy has never been done before and when Hardy wins the building would erupt.

That is a great idea, but as usual the WWE won't want to break out of the mold their already in so they will have HHH win the Elimination Chamber and we'll get to see HHH vs. Cena #2 at WM.

If they pull another HHH/Cena at Mania I don't think I will buy... which means it will be the first Mania I did not watch live in well over 12 years. However, if they go that route but make a good Money in the Bank I might reconsider.

Is the main event really worth watching tonight?

it a good song... hater.

Oh don't start that. I'm a bigger Chili Peppers fan than you are and you know it. I love Snow, but it doesn't make sense for wrestling. Storm in a Teacup would've made a better choice than Snow.

Saw this on one of the wrassle sites:

"One source of Bobby Lashley's discontention with WWE had to do with his payoff from WrestleMania 23. He received $250,000 for his efforts in his heavily-hyped match with Umaga. Lashley was said to be furious with the payoff, and he complained about it. Considering that he was the winner of the biggest-drawing match in WrestleMania history, he believes that was entitled to more. Also, even though he was injured for nearly half the year, several sources have indicated that Lashley earned somewhere in the neighborhood of $1 million in 2007, and that's without being much of a merchandise draw. "

^ huh?

well i think wrestlemania 23 got the biggest gate + ppv buys in history and the program with Trump drew more money in Wrestlemania History.

What else could have drew more HBK & CENA or Batista & Undertaker.

Don't be Silly :p

WM23 got more than WM3? Lashley/Umaga > Hogan/Andre?

I guess in straight dollars, but I wonder if adjusted for inflation. There's gotta be no way. That was the weakest thing on the card.

Vince/Trump was HUGE buys. That was the main promotional tactic for the entire show. The past few Wrestlemanias have been doing one million buys worldwide, which is more than Hogan/Andre, but the buyrate (the percentage of households buying the show) has moved down since more people can buy PPVs.

Well thats just sad. Gimmick match with super poor build outdoing a classic moment.

TOTAL NONSTOP ACTION WRESTLING OFFERS COACHING JOB TO BOB KNIGHT

Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling is offering its first-ever Head Coaching job to Bob Knight, the all-time winningest Division I men’s basketball coach known as much for his coaching genius as his fiery temper, who resigned Monday in the middle of the season as the Texas Tech coach.

“TNA Wrestling was shocked, like the rest of the sports world, to hear Coach Knight resigned,” said Jeff Jarrett, co-founder of TNA Wrestling, who was a high school and junior college basketball player in Tennessee before becoming a professional wrestler. “Coach Knight is a sports icon and we’d be thrilled and honored to have him join the ranks, to further build TNA Wrestling into a national power, much like he did for Texas Tech.”

Knight, 67, has been a head coach for 42 years at three Division I schools: Army, Indiana and Texas Tech. Knight won three national championships, including his 1976 Indiana team that went undefeated, a feat no team has done since. In 1984, he coached the U.S. Olympic team to a gold medal in Los Angeles.

TNA Wrestling has a lighter schedule than college basketball which should appeal to Coach Knight, Jarrett said, and TNA not only endorses chair-throwing, but has an endless supply of steel chairs.

In addition to Jarrett, the TNA Wrestling roster also features Kevin Nash who, during his high school basketball career in Michigan had an in-home recruiting visit from Knight. Nash, though, ultimately played at the University of Tennessee, then professionally in Germany.

TNA Wrestling delivers a distinct brand of high-risk, athletic entertainment. TNA’s roster includes the biggest names in wrestling today, such as Kurt Angle, Booker T, and Christian Cage, as well as the hottest new stars in the business: A.J. Styles, Samoa Joe and the Motor City Machineguns. TNA features the innovative six-sided ring and the high flying X-Division, as well as concept matches such as “Ultimate X,” “King of the Mountain,” “Six Sides of Steel,” “Lethal Lockdown” and “Elevation X,” considered the most dangerous match in professional wrestling.

TNA Entertainment, LLC is a privately held company headquartered in Nashville, TN. For more information, visit www.tnawrestling.com. TNA programming is available in over 100 countries. “TNA iMPACT” airs every Thursday night on Spike TV (9:00 – 11:00 PM, ET/PT). Spike TV is available in 96.1 million homes and is a division of MTV Networks.
