Last I think anyone heard about it was a legal issue involving mechs designed on Macroos/Robotech. I can't find anything saying they cancelled the reboot though, so I'm hoping it's just been delayed.

PS3 question:

I have 5 arcade sticks, 2 wireless and 3 wired. Since the PS3 has only 2 USB ports, is it possible to connect an USB hub with 4 ports so I can use all the arcade sticks at once?

Aye hubs work. I highly recommend getting a hub that has it's own power supply though just to make sure everything connected will work.

As for in-game, both can work but RE5 sure as hell did not. Darkness is such a safe bet though.

Its OK, not the best game(its basically a point n click adventure) but if you like Sherlock Holmes & you can get it cheap enough its decent.

Are the cables to hook up your PSP to your TV worth it or good? My dust collecting PSP-1000 might be getting some love thanks to Tactics Ogre, but I hate playing games on my PSP for some unknown reason. So my 60gig died a couple weeks ago and I received my replacement a day after the data breach. I managed to back up most of my save files that weren't copyright protected, but will they work once I'm able to restore my account? Lithium-ion batteries will eventually lose their charge standing idle due to trickle. You can put them into storage with a full charge and let it trickle away, but it can improve the life of the battery to store them long-term on no charge. Most battery manufacturers recommend no more than a 40-50% charge for long-term storage.

Factory-sealed consumer electronics usually ship with their batteries well below 40-50% charged, I would not worry about your GBA SP or Micro.

Just started playing Dragon Quest IX and made a few party members. I have a couple of questions:

1) Why does my main character get more EXP than my level 1 party members?

2) What determines the colour around their names and info? When I used the default characters they were different colours, but two of my custom party members are dark green and one is light green. >_> EDIT: Oh, wait, I figured this one out.

IIRC I enjoyed the game for the most part until the final act. It was as if the dev's worked less and less on it later on in the game (last hour was pretty much ladders and hallways and with little in between). The art direction was really neat with the exception of the final area as well.

It was a depressing game throughout story wise.

In the end both versions perform largely identically with only small differences between them. The 360 game drops less frames in the most intense situations, whilst the PS3 game is more consistently smooth overall, only faring worse in heavy load areas, such as the boss battle. Screen tear isn’t an issue for either build, and the PS3’s use of triple buffering doesn’t affect controller responsiveness to any noticeable degree during regular play. In fact it is the PS3 version of the game that actually just pushes ahead, looking slightly smoother, and sharper overall, though without commanding anything more than the subtlest of leads.
