I can't believe after 15 minutes no one was there to help. All it would have took was for them to distract him away with meat.
I also wonder what would have happened if the guy calmly walked away. The tiger would have obviously been used to humans in some capacity. That's easy said than done though. You would kind of expect some intervention from zoo staff though.

I feel bad for the guy, but I would think I would have tried to run, climb, bash the tiger with a rock, gouge eyes, something!! Die trying at least.
Also WTF at someone not throwing him a stick, or weapon of some kind. Sounded like they were slapping sticks or a whip or something. Give the guy a fighting chance.

That's what I'm trying to say. Killing an animal that acts only by instinct just because some drunk guy decided it would be funny to play with it is a stupid way of thinking.

This infamous video still remains as the worst thing I've seen in the internet. I had completely forgotten about it and now the memories come back. It's insanely disturbing because the guy dies so slowly and painfully while the lions just lay next to him licking and occasionally biting him... And this is witnessed by his fucking family. My day is ruined now

I'm pretty much against zoos in general. I would have most of them shut down. I don't think animals should be kept in cages for our entertainment. Nature reserves and safari parks seem like a much better and healthier alternative.

For the US, I feel like we should just have one big, extremely well taken care of zoo for the whole country.

China's only going to grow so the black market will always be there, unfortunately. India needs armed guards, stricter laws, and so much more in order to turn the tide.

Well, yeah, because of idiotic human interaction. Either way this is our fault, not the animals, as with most wild animal situations (I'd say all, but I'll leave it at most).
