Do you seriously not know why everyone is complaining? Did nothing about that battle come off as odd to you? Was "Bravery" as an explanation and a random punch to the face to what amounts to the closest thing this world has to a god feel justified as a means to defeating Ashura?

Yes, the manga is leaps and bounds above the garbage that Bones Eater becomes after it diverts from the source material.

I don't think the end bothers me as much, despite it being dumb, than all the characterizations, plots, etc that changes and are butchered by Bones instead of the manga characterizations, the end is just the icing on the shit cake.

you know BJ? the coffee guy? he and mari use to be a couple, they were gonna get back together and go on a date but then smeone killed BJ so every part in the anime after a certain point, is super non-canon because he was dead, also after black star and kid had their duel black star decided to leave the school without warning.

I only know bits and pieces I've read up on, but some of the things that stuck out were (some pretty big things, I should warn before anyone clicks on them)...

-Justin Law was actually evil and in league with Asura
-Butattaki (coffee guy) had the ability to perceive souls even through a witch's Soul Protect, so Justin killed him for that so the DWMA couldn't use it to find Medusa
-Kim was also a witch, but a good one cast out for only being able to use healing magic or something
-Mifune does not survive his duel with Black Star, Black Star looks after Angela (the little girl witch) in his place
-Giriko (chainsaw guy) can apparently switch bodies, becomes female at some point IIRC
-Marie and Stein are expecting a child by the end of the series
