Well they're basically in a coma in real life, so life support keeps their bodies alive at least. They explained that the Nervegear has a battery, so it wouldn't be difficult to assume they could at least move the players without endangering their lives.

The voice acting was pretty good. Kirito's voice will take time getting used to though.

Well for one I actually knew what was going on, as opposed to dropping randomly into an episode of Bleach having only ever watched 3 episodes. The premise of SAO is pretty simple, and makes sense to people who have played MMOs or RPGs.

I enjoyed it for what it was.

Sword Art Online is a terrible show, but I very much enjoy it anyway. Mostly I guess because it was my gateway anime, didn't really watch anything before it other than like, FLCL and Angel Beats.

Sword art online is the very definition of so bad it's good. It's so awful it comes full circle and becomes hilariously awesome and a terrible kind of way. Think sharknado when you watch Sao. You can drive a battleship though the plot holes in Sao but that's what makes it fun.
