Im here over JK Rowling alegations that says she is a trans-hater

Let me tell you this

You can change your genitals with surgery but you cant change your XY genetics...the way your body built....your muscles..hips....broad chest..shoulder....its all built as man...

Change my mind if you disagree with this..

Ask yourself this...

If you trully admit transgender as female then will you marry one of them as lover?

I agree. Everyone has the right to change their sex but they're still the gender they were born with in my eyes. Male or female.
It's their business how they wanna indentify, they have the right to do so, but when it comes to sports and similar activities, you should compete in a category you were born with (dick or vag).

I was playing disc golf last night, my buddy and I were unaware that it was ladies night.

We come up to a group of 5 or 6 women and 1 male who is identifying as a woman playing a hole. We watch the 5 women throw pretty crappy shots maybe 40 ft maximum, they're learning and that's cool. The trans player who looks like Dee Snider steps up, and cranks it in one shot literally right to the hole, probably like 150 ft or something, parks it right next to it.

The ladies are like "you're on fire today", and walk to their discs, and me and a few guys who were sitting on the nearby picnic table waiting just sat there silently, I felt like everyone was thinking the exact same thing.

There are mtf transgenders, there are ftm, etc.
The real question is why does it bother you if they want to be identified as women or called women ? Does it threaten your sexuality ?
Why the need to make a disrespectful thread about a choice that does not affect you in any way ?

Anyway, you're partly wrong there. Sure the chromosomes won't change but i'm pretty sure HRT has a lot of effects on their bodies, for both ftm and mtf.
Go read this:
It includes different body fat pattern, different body hair growth, different breast development, etc. even some bones are affected.

I'm too exhausted over all of it to write another long post, but yeah...trans women are trans women. Most transgender women are in agreement with this...such as myself.

However, the word "transgender" is starting to become something other than it used to be. There is a large push from people without in-born sexual differentiation or even any form of medically diagnosed gender dysphoria co-opting what it means to be transgender. People like myself who have suffered gender dysphoria are having our voices silenced by these people. These are the people who may use a strange alternate pronouns like zir/zim, etc...or even people with a romanticized/fetishized view. They seem to want societal views of sex/gender to blur completely.

All it's doing is destroying any goodwill that trans people have gained over the past several years. People once again associate the "T" in LGBT+ as delusional, crazy, and people to be mocked.

I wish I was not transgender, but it is a biological medical condition that I was born with, having been prenatally exposed to Diethylstilbestrol. I have learned to live with it, and the last thing I want to do is disrupt society in any way. Most of us only wish to blend in and cause no waves...but we are slowly being pushed out of our own "community." It's extremely exhausting. :messenger_pensive:

This is so true and so sad, all the years of work getting people to understand the condition only in just a few years to have some loony trans-trenders to undo it all or make the situation even worse.

When it comes to athletic competitions and whatnot there will always be a heavily debated grey area but at the end of the day I just want people to be happy and comfortable in their own skin as long as it doesn't come at the detriment of others.

I often daydream about what it would take to eradicate the internet and force people to stop using their phones.

Imagine if you literally couldn't connect to communities outside of your own without travelling to them.

I remember walking to friends houses as a kid knocking on the door to see if they wanted to hang out. I wonder how long it has been since that has happened.

I'm getting really tired of constantly being "on call" because I have a smart phone. People literally get angry with you nowadays if you don't text back within a certain amount of time.

There's this expectation that because SMS is quick and easy and accessible, we can have running conversations 24 hours a day. I liked it when I was only accessible via my home phone or in meat space. People only called when they really needed to and everyone had lives.

I really enjoy reading your posts because it goes against the media narrative, and you still own it. My transwomen friends are also exhausted of the dilution of the term. A man taking female hormones is not a trans person IMO.

Wait, JK "I never said Hermione is white even though I totally did" Rowling is non-woke now?

As for the subject, sadly it seems to me that because of social media only the most vocal and extremist people on both sides of the argument get the spotlight while the more moderate people are ignored, as usual. Only looking at social media you'd think all trans people are annoying extremists demanding representation in everything, labelling everything and everyone transphobic and demanding to be treated as their preferred gender in literally every way with no limitations (like sports). But the few trans people I know just come across as regular people trying to make the best out of a shitty situation (suffering from gender dysphoria) and living their life as best as they can.

Hold onto your panties
Resetera lurkers are making accounts as we speak....
Or they're already here getting ready to serve us with their social justice.

E.g. -- Era Spy: Let's riot and loot the place and destroy the fascists blah blah blah...

Let people be what they want, as long as they don't shit those things on other people all the time...
Everybody deserves to be happy.

Transitioning for the sake of it (aka Trans-Trenders) does not lead to happiness. Rather, more often than not, to suicidal tendencies.
Which in turn does often lead to *shit on others* because of unfulfillment.

Trans hater?
Does she have a problem with female to male trans?
I guess not.

Perhaps she is... a man hater then?

Even craziest leftists do not challenge this.

The point is, as the world renowned scientists put (and was temporarily banned by twitter for it, chuckle): there are people with gender dysphoria, who otherwise function as good or better than ordinary people..

Its refreshing that when sensitive issues arise on the general topic, no one gets banned merely for having an opinion (one way or the other). That said, we've got some good people here who are transgender. Would be cool if we could keep these kind of opinions to threads about more specific issues that arise. General threads like this don't really serve much point IMO. I'm not calling for safe spaces or anything of the sort. Just hoping we all have some tact.

I agree. I don’t think anyone should be banned in this thread. I believe it’s important to discuss these topics, but it’s obvious the OP wasnt looking for discussion. He’s making an exclamation and putting others who feel differently on the defensive.

Does anyone in this thread feel differently?

A transgender woman is a woman, but they are wholly a transgender woman; not a purely biological woman. I'm not mocking or attacking anyone for transitioning into how they feel but there has to be a distinction because there are biological differences that have to be taken into account, such as a a trans woman competing againsts biological women in competitions in which the male biology favors them. I don't see how you can jump around the science here because it directly relates to socioeconomics and fairness.

Who are these anonymous 'others' who feel differently but have been put on the defensive, when everyone is in agreement? Is the point that they are too intimidated to comment?

It is a rather strange OP I will say.
I’m not going to comment either way because it shouldn’t matter. It doesn’t effect you adversely, so why even take a hard stance?
