Lucky you. You can still experience it for the first time -- and on Blu-Ray.

I was kind of waiting for this day, TBH. I'm only worried because modern TV has spoiled me and now I can't watch 4:3 content on a big ass screen without cringing a little.

It'll be time to give myself a present when this hits.

At least there were only 2 seasons. I spent over $1,000 on The X-Files DVDs, lol.

i used to collect anime laserdiscs when i was a teenager.

we're talking $50 (in the 90's, figure out the inflation) for two or three episodes at a time.

Interesting, from this youtube description:

Presented as a feature-length experience, "The Missing Pieces" has been directed and edited by Lynch exclusively for this release. Capping off more than 30 deleted/alternate scenes is an epilogue providing a fascinating glimpse beyond the cliffhanger finale of the TV series.

Sounds similar to what Lynch did with Inland Empire's "More Things That Happened".

I have a confession to make, TV-GAF: I have never watched an entire episode of Twin Peaks.

I ninja watched a VHS copy my older brother had recorded from the first TV channel that aired it in Spain (Tele 5 if I remember well) when I was around 10. I didn't undertand anything at all yet I loved it. For me it was the show with the nice song and weird people. That part hasn't changed.

Yeah, it was Tele5. I remember they made a huge deal about it, same with X Files. Those were probably the first TV shows they actually promoted like huge events.

I also remember that Twin Peaks was considered way edgy for its time and got some critics quite riled up.

WHAT. Bought. I've never seen FWWM so that'll be awesome to see. The show didn't really scare me (it was incredibly tense) but the finale did.
Laura's scream on is burned in my memory.

Also lol at the people only four or five episodes into season two. You're about to get a rude awakening. I've never seen the quality of a show drop so fast.

The finale is unquestionably the scariest thing I have ever seen.

I've seen this scene more than 50 times. I have no idea why I like it so much.

Because Albert is one of the best characters on TV and this scene gets to highlight the relationship between Coop and Albert in ways that others weren't able to because of others being there for Albert to rip on.

"I'm thrilled to pieces that the Dharma came to King Hohoho, I really am."

"Twin Peak - The Entire Mystery is loaded with special features. In the two-part feature “Between Two Worlds,” Lynch himself interviews the Palmer family (Leland, Sarah and daughter Laura) about their current existence in this life and the next, and follows up with a discussion with the actors who portray them. "

This is probably gonna be worth the money alone

Pre-ordered! I would have been happy enough just having this on blu-ray, getting all this extra content is incredible, I cannot wait!

Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee.
