Audrey Horne is the perfect woman, and all it took was Billy Zane to tame that strange.
Because that's all previously unused footage from Fire Walk With Me which was shot in 16:9.
I've got this pre-ordered. It comes out just before the Twin Peak's Fest, and my wife and I are spending a couple of days staying at the Salish (aka the hotel used for The Great Nothern's exterior) that weekend while we attend the fest.
It's going to be an amazing week or two of Twin Peaks.
Anyone else attending the fest this year?
Also, I have it on VERY GOOD authority that the audio levels in the Partyland scene of FWWM haven't been fucked up as they have been in previous releases. In other words, what that means, is that the dialogue will be very hard to hear against the loud music playing at the dive bar/nightclub where Laura and Donna go. Just as it should be.
I wish i could afford it...I've been a fan since they were on the air. My Sis, who is also a big fan, has been wanting to do the same...We'll have to plan a family reunion there one day.
Speaking of which, am I the only person to have watched and enjoyed "On the Air"?

As far as I know they only aired (3) episodes even though it claims that all were shown. I think my local affiliate just preempted them with something else. In any case, I managed to find a Japanese release that had them all. Very quirky comedy and very Lynch.
I'm not clear on the background here (havent seen FWWM yet) but why are these scenes cut / so hard to get ahold of / thought to be never seen again? Some weird rights issues? Are they enough to actually make its own movie of (its 90s minutes), why were they cut originally anyway? sorry lost on this
a bit OT: but I just remember this PSONE game that never made it over here....
man it looks like deadly premonitions .5, I would have loved to try this back in the day

Solid plan.
How scary is the show? I can't do horror.
But if its not your birthday then remember ...
I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, two cups of good, hot black coffee, or a damn fine blu ray boxset.
As a fellow "cannot do horror whatsoever" person, you'll be good. There is plenty of weird things, but no gore. I haven't seen the film though, maybe someone else can chime in on that.
Whoa, whoa, whoa....epilogue?!?!
I cannot disagree with this sentiment enough.
Even without the film, the show contains the most terrifying imagery I've ever seen. It has nothing to do with gore, Lynch drills down to the subconscious horror inside all our little brains and projects into a 4:3 frame.
This show haunted me literally for years after it aired. Pretty much from the third episode of the series on, there's imagery you'll never be able to scrub out, and it will scare you literally for the rest of your life.
Don't listen to this guy. Twin Peaks isn't just the scariest show that's ever aired on TV, it contains the scariest sequences ever filmed with a camera.
I must have missed the epilogue thing in the product release.I'm convinced that the "epilogue" mentioned in the product description is simply referring to the FWWM deleted scene that shows Annie in the hospital, after the events of the TV series. This scene is in the FWWM script and has been known of for quite some time (though never seen).
Most likely the tweet is in reference to new interviews with said cast members, but I'd love to be proven wrong.
I associate horror with gore, which is why I said that. If terror or suspense is concerning, then don't take the chance. I don't think I realized how many people were impacted by this show until I read this thread. For me, it had so many goofy moments, that even when something that was supposed to be terrifying or scary happens, I could never take it seriously. But don't get me wrong, I love the show.
Either way, take my word for it, nobody should ever listen to "this guy." Except that.
I must have missed the epilogue thing in the product release.
God, I hope that happens.
Just to clarify, that's interviews with THE CHARACTERS. Two of whom are still likely living in the Black Lodge.
I mean
How can
I can't
I think that song is only in the movie. I love it though.Hmmmm I wonder where the discs are stored in the packaging... What's up with those pop up pictures? Are they cardboard sleeves?
One of the most chilling songs on the show.

the internet's most hipster show returns on bluray.

It's not in the movie, it's in the finale. You should watch it again, it's a real chill bit of television, with absolutely no irreversible psychological damage.
It's on the FWWM soundtrack CD, though, strangely enough. An instrumental version of it appears briefly in the movie.

Annie?How's
It's so weird that people always cite that as scary when "Meanwhile...." is about fourteen million times more terrifying.
