Never using Shopto again.
Utter shambles.
Had PS5 on preorder since they went live.
Paid off in full.
Ordered Spider man Ultimate edition in good faith they would be a great retailer like normal.
They then tried recharging me for the PS5 AND the game which bounced back, 520. I then logged in and paid for spider man and the console again which they charged me only for the game.
My console and game merged as one order for some reason and was stuck in "pre orders" on the account section and I contacted them telling them I had paid for both with no reply. *you could even see in my account the exact amount had been paid off.
Today they try and charge me 520 yet again and since it bounced back they have cancelled my pre order.
I am FURIOUS.
I do have backups but one of my friends will ultimately miss out.
Cant believe this shit.

Went on Facebook live chat and raised another ticket.
After refreshing my orders it miraculously appeared and is processing....
So so strange.
So currently I am back on with Shopto?

The Game Collection, 1 day before release date of Miles Morales and Demons Souls, sent me an email telling they are dispatched. Then underneath - Payment Declined. So which is it then? Checked the bank and it’s defo not an issue with them, plenty of wonga. Checked PayPal too and can’t see where the issue is.
If they don’t arrive tomorrow or Friday then I shall just order them elsewhere, not like I can play them yet anyway.

That's very surprising. I use Shopto all the time and never had a problem with them. I even got my PS4 pro from them. But, I was kinda wondering if things like this would happen with the smaller companies regarding the first day delivery for the PS5.
I did have a pre-order with Shopto and Amazon, but I chose to go with Amazon in the end. I feel Amazon would be more guaranteed with the first day delivery.

Amazon UK has dispatched my PS5 3D Pulse Audio headset. Before dispatch it had said arriving Thursday by 10.00pm, but now it's actually been dispatched the time for delivery has been removed lol.

They cancelled my preorder of Godfall. They cancelled my copy of THPS1&2 last month. They are fucking useless. Gonna use PayPal next time to avoid them fucking up. Worst thing is they had the best price for Godfall and now they've sold out of it and I can't pre-order it again.

Not really. You don't pre-order a hairbrush. Besides, a hairbrush isn't one of the most hyped-up things of all time. It'll look pretty bad on Amazon's part if they don't deliver it on day one, especially when I was one of the first people to pre-order it. Also, I'm not spending £449 on a hairbrush.

Yes really. We've already heard countless stories that they've fucked up shipments of Xbox. People are salty about it while Amazon simply couldn't care less. Whether a product is heavily sought after is of no consequence to Amazon and their world will go on if you don't get the thing you've been looking forward to.

Amazon UK... still havent got my xbox, since i recently moved i applied to change address and apparently they cant handle this since now my order is stuck in limbo and was quoted delivery by 19th and its still gonna end up going to old address!!!
and my PS5 preorder has now moved to "Arriving Fri, 20 Nov"
what an absolute farce Amazon have been, before this gen i always used ShopTo and they were incredible, just shame i couldnt get one from them!

Don't worry. I had the same message about the PS5 now arriving till the 20th Nov. Just go back to my earlier messages and you'll see what I mean. Apparently, you need to change your shipping speed method so it updates the real date. I spoke to someone over the chat a few days back regarding why it changed to the 20th and they said it'll most likely still arrive on the 19th..... but it's guaranteed to arrive on the 20th by the latest. They also said they're not shipping the consoles out till the 18th. I think if you live pretty close to an Amazon depot, you have a pretty good chance of getting it on the 19th.

Not that it helps you in anyway, but mine says 19th still from Amazon. Maybe they have now separated batches and allocated them days, which is better then nothing.

I Have noticed to be fair, since lockdown 2.0, Amazon prime items are a 2 day lead time but will be delivered next day. My item I ordered yesterday said Friday but has just been delivered.

Most likely. I live pretty close to 2 Amazon depots so I feel pretty confident I'll get my PS5 on the 19th. They did ship my PS5 controller yesterday and I got it this morning.
I feel they have to put the 20th just to cover their backs. But, I do feel most people will get theirs on the release day.

Despite ordering the second they became available, my XSX Amazon order said the 10th up until the morning of the 10th at which point it changed to 'Arrive by 9pm tomorrow'. I thought this was a glitch, but no. It arrived the day after launch in the evening.
Luckily I had one ordered from Very and theirs delivered on the morning of the 10th
Amazon have assured me that my PS5 will be delivered on launch day, but I'm not holding much hope. Luckily I have ordered others so I should definitely have one. In the meantime I can sit and look at my accessories

I don't suppose any GAFers have a spare PS5 going? I had a Day One Disc version paid for with Shopto, but in a moment of insanity, I cancelled it last week. Instant regrets and Shopto (understandably) can't help.

I will keep an eye out for you and will let you know if I get anymore, my advice would be to spend all morning on Very, John Lewis and GAME on the morning of the 19th for the new wave of stock.

Thanks - will try that - I have a friend who has the discless version ordered and is having doubts (but he may decide to flip it at a profit :/) - but will try. I tried JL site for an Xbox Series X and the site crashed lol

My advice in regards to Digital Edition, wait if you want one, CEX are going to be selling them for £360 themselves new.
This may take a few weeks for them to get some but they will sell for no more than the RRP, compared to the disc version which they are selling for £625!

Shopto sent me an email saying my PS5 Digital Pre-order is now in the warehouse and being prepared for shipping. It's been changed to "processing" in the order section. Hoping they send it out a little bit earlier than the 19th. 
they have no clue as to whats going on, but atleast it worked in my favor
