It could be in batches or done according to when you placed the pre-order. Right now I'm more worried about my PS5 from Amazon, seeing as what went on with the XsX was really bad...

As for my games, they are coming from Amazon as well as the Pulse 3D headset.

My friend who pre-ordered after me has had his money taken, yet I've not.

Did anyone who should of got their order today from Amazon change their card or address during the pre order period? That was a old bug that would send you to the back of the line.

It was definitely a bug when the PS4 launched. That was a long time ago though, it's likely it's been fixed.... but I've had a card that wont do wireless for 2 months and didn't replace just in case 😂.

They will just have a script they read to every angry customer. Ones that are persistent get a 5er to compensate staying off work 😂😭🙈

I always believed amazon UK charged on dispatch or very close to. Almost certain they did this for my PS4 console., although I was in the 2nd batch of pre-orders for PS5.

Just got the email from ShopTo regarding my order arriving at the warehouse!

Don't think it is actually there yet but great news nonetheless!

I had mine a couple of days ago, I’d imagine they’re getting them all packed and labelled ready for DPD to start picking them up next week.

Yeah when I spoke to a customer rep they said it was to process the orders through as quickly as possible to ensure smooth collections for DPD.

So lucky that we get DPD, they used DHL for Xbox and that resulted in some problems with tracking.
 
Was it being delivered by somebody else instead of Yodel?

Was Royal Mail - specifically because other delivery companies struggle to find my flat but Royal Mail are fine.
Though have also read posts on the other site of people who had paid for DPD morning delivery having their delivery downgraded but the not getting the delivery charge back.
Doesn't help that Game's support at is all but non existent - no phone number, no live chat, social media taking 4 days to get back to people and their support ticket system taking 72 hours to get back to people.

I am with Shopto, got the email this morning, so excited, however my pre order is still in the pre-order section of my orders which is weird, my friends is in orders and processing.

Just got a follow up with ‘shipment confirmation’ as the header. My package is ready for pickup! But not til next Wednesday, boo. 😕

Just got an update on my PS5 pre order with GAME via helpdesk.

They are processing payment in batches and not to worry about lack of emails at this point.
Looks like my friend should get his.

Wanna see if it is the same as the usual shipment confirmation email and all that jazz, of course black out anything personal on it!

It’s pretty much the same as the previous one, with order at the bottom, includes DPD tracking number too.
“ Dear *******,
Congratulations, we just packed your item(s) and everything is ready to be dispatched to you soon. Our dispatch of orders is on every working day up until 5.20pm (5.00pm for TNT / DPD) .
We do not dispatch orders over the weekend or during public holidays.
There is an exception to this rule as however during busy periods (such as Christmas) we may dispatch on a Saturday.”

A couple of minutes later an invoice arrived also.

Nothing on the DPD website yet, also nothing in app, expect it will appear next Wednesday. Warehouse email came on Monday morning.

Thanks for the info mate, can't wait for next week, luckily I work at the reception at my work so getting it delivered there!
I booked Thursday/Friday off, then got moithered by my boss that I still need to take another 7 days by new year, so I booked the week off after too lol

Same basically. We got super busy so I hadn't had a single holiday day in the first half of the year which meant I had over 3 weeks to take in this second half, using one for PS5 launch (and at the time, Cyberpunk :messenger_downcast_sweat:)

Good to know, I'm in the same situation. I got one sorted from GAME for my friend, no money taken out yet. Mine is coming from Amazon.
 
Does anyone think that whole Amazon UK if you change payment, it fucks up where you are on the wait times for dispatch bug is true? I'm getting worried.

It will either be kept at Game's warehouse and won't be collected until next Tues/Weds OR DPD will collect them this week, distribute them to the correct depots and hold them their until next Thursday. Chances of getting them early are slim imho.

got it too but think its an internal Shopto tracking number not a DPD one.
