not sure anyone cares, but managed to get amazon to redirect the delivery to my new address... its like 5-10 mins away from my old address and would come from same Depot so i am hoping it still comes today

did anyone else get email from Amazon saying they will use one time passcode to accept delivery? first time i heard of that

The S was from Very.co.uk, they are always spot on for delivery and yeah it's usually from the livingston depot from them. The X was from Smyths which is a first for me but they seem to be delivering on time too. I'm lucky too cause my initial order from Smyths got cancelled after pre-ordering then had to re-order a couple days later.

I'm surprised the UK branch are usually spot on. I bet it's the out sourced customer services that know next to nothing.

Small comfort but if you complain they will most likely give you a small discount.

My X looks the same. They took money yesterday and Ive had a email today saying its been delayed. So don't bank on that. Luckily Ive got one on the way from Argos.

amazon can't tell me when they will bother to get around to sending out my xbox.

preordered as soon as it went live. took my money but still waiting to see WTF they are doing. still says it's coming today but not dispatched yet. got an email saying it has been delayed.

I'm done with Amazon, the best they can offer me for them fucking up the delivery is £5.

Really wish I didn't order my PS5 with them as well. What a shitshow this company has become. Never preordering with them again.

Took a day off work and am so fucking mad right now.

the PS5 launch will be worse. i preordered the PS5 with them too. not expecting it to arrive on the 19th.

You can’t not be happy at a new console launch (and people getting their new consoles), but at the same time I keep thinking ShopTo did me really dirty with my PS5 preorder lol

Let’s hope I manage to secure a console sooner or later?

FFS, I'm not holding out much hope on Amazon for my PS5. However, I DO have a date, which seems like more then some people have got, so every cloud and all that.

Xbox launch means nothing to Amazon. It’s just another product to them. It means something to Game and shopto because it’s the focus of their business.

Congrats to those who got their consoles! Thread’s got that new gen smell now.

I have a bad feeling I'm not going to get my Series X today. Ordered from MS and is being shipped through UPS. Their update is stuck at "being processed for delivery at local depot". No ETA or anything.

Edit: Delivery status never updated, but did arrive after all. :messenger_grinning:

Good Luck mate. Hope the UK Release of PS5 is Smoother on a personal note. Maybe Issues recieving stock from MS? Who knows. Hope you get your console though.

Looks like a safe bet. I wanted Argos first choice, but nabbed one within Minutes at Amazon and though it was a good shout. NEVER have I had a delivery late in 10 + Years, but the world isn't normal this year, so needs must.

Seems Canada have Issues as well, so Maybe there is a MS Supply issue to Amazon in certain countries?

Anyone checked their PS5 shopto orders? Specifically if you ordered a game with it?

They seem to have merged them into a bundle and asked for payment of the console + game again.

Of course I paid after it declined but you should know it only charges the difference between the console and game.

Incidentally a friends console is now in his orders rather than pre orders.

Mine which comes with spider man seems to still be in pre orders.

REGARDING XBOX PREORDERS

If anyone's awaiting an order from ShopTo or your order is being delivered by DHL and it hasn't arrived yet the reason for delays was DHL had a machine breakdown at their hub last night.

A lot of people have received their consoles despite DHL saying it was still in the depot so don't worry!

GAME tried charging me and for the first time ever my bank rejected it? Authorised it but now i'm trying to contact GAME to try and get the payment done
