Playing some Peace Walker HD.
Sounds good - I need to get a new PS3 before I do that.
Mine currently sounds like a jet taking off
...gonna be tough deciding between a slim and a super slim.
I like both...

Fuckit, you'd expect this to be in an MGS game anyway:
Torture sequence. And fuck I'm stuck because apparently I can't hit triangle fast enough. I survived every MGS torture sequence before this one, yet this seems impossible. Would hate to be doing this on the PSP rather than the full-sized dualshock.
Dude if you get stuck pm me, assuming you're in 1st or 2nd year. Been through all that!
Has anyone else seen the new 007 channel on Sky Movies?
I've watched Dr. No this evening and Casino Royale is about to start.
Great stuff.
Watch The Take, it'll quickly put a stop to that.Ok so the ending was predictable, but still very moving. And I am now totally in love with Tom Hardy.
I have been watching UK Netflix for a change. Saw 50/50 which was a really excellent movie about cancer with Joseph Gordon Levitt and Seth Rogan. It was surprisingly very funny and not too heavy, but was also super sad when it needed to be. Highly recommended.
Also saw Richard Herring's Hitler Mustache which was awesome. I was a bit worried that one hour forty was a bit long a show which is all just one man talking to two hundred people would be a bit grating but the time flew by and it was genuinely hilarious at parts, some really awesomely offensive jokes in there very well placed in their context. And I had fun trying to guess who came up with certain types of comedic delivery between Richard Herring and Stuart Lee, since they are very similar in some respects which make sense given their history. But who is the chicken, I wondered, and who is the egg.
I am also quite stoned, as you can probably tell by that last sentence
I might just take you up on that. One of these problems is seriously annoying me. Know much about Graphics2D and drawing polygons?
Gah, see that's the issue. Only just starting graphics in 3rd year.
I just saw the Hulk Hogan sex tape leak.
I'm going to provide absolutely zero commentary on it.

I'm a lowly first year but have to deal with graphics. Some of it is a serious pain
Java coursework
Java has just become a standard across universities it seems. At least it was when I was applying all those years ago. Though my personal tutor did suggest moving on to C# once I got to grips with Java. Thing is he said this after my first Java lesson so he really jumped the gun a bit there.
But I did learn something in the end. Well enough to go back to the basic scripting on RPG Maker 2k and push it beyond what I was able to do as a kid. HA HA.

Dude RM2K is so old hat and scripting doesn't work the same way in the newer ones.so youd describe yourself as competent with RPG maker then?
Good morning Saturday UKGAF! Can't believe I'm watching Jeremy Kyle USA with my cereal instead of SMTV Live or at least some decent cartoons. Been very busy these past two nights with meeting folk and shiz. Someone called me saying that they'll be in Glasgow so I asked if they could pick up my bass guitar and Xbox cables. I can now finally play Resident Evil 6!! Bought tickets to see Looper and Perks of being an Elderflower for tomorrow. Looking forward to that.
Fuck sake, Don't tell me it's that Progzoo stuff. To be fair it's a good website to learn the foundations of programming but I thought I made it clear to that university that C#/C++ is far more valuable than bloody Java. Who's teaching you that? Is it a guy called Andrew? Oh well, one more year of it to go and by 3rd year you should be happy to see the back of it...assuming you don't get enticed to do Software Engineering...like some poor sod I know...who's currently typing this.

Yeah the old RTP is kinda nice, that's true. But you get tired of it quick. Everybody stopped using RTP after a while and for good reason. While I have tried the newer ones for some reason I just like the feel of 2k. Probably helps that it still has the best built in graphics of the lot.

Oh that Gary Lineker. Why do I find the apology funnier than the non-malicious joke?

Ha! goodness, oh yes! The coursework was "Choose 1 from 3 flags to draw based on difficulty". Easiest one was the USA flag which gave you the minimum pass mark. The hardest one was a spirograph flag if I recall correctly. The memories!Yup. Progzoo. You're right about the teacher too! You're also right about what course I'm on...Did you have to draw flags with Graphics2D too?
Is Java even used that much in the real world?

Only Java I've came across when looking for a job is J2EE and they don't teach you that in university. Its never used in the video game industry that's for sure.
Is this the final evolution of all gingers?
I dunno. He seems pretty G-typical to me.No. He does not speak for us. In fact we're so disgusted with his behaviour that we've kicked him out of the ginger club.
