You are wrong.
The terrible platforming and bullet sponge enemy waves that never end are like, the biggest complaints people have about the series.

No longer waiting for MS to improve. ill get one once i feel they have more games i need. PS4 bought and hype is at max level for this reveal!
The graphics will undoubtedly be amazing.
I'm just hoping to god they actually have interesting gameplay to show, and not the boring garbage from UC 1-3. The series would be god-tier if NaughtyDog made the games remotely interesting to play.
Those are the complaints from people who want an open-world, exploration-heavy Uncharted title. But it's a shooter with traversal unlike most others, including the games that try to be Uncharted solely on scripted events and cutscenes alone. The terrible platforming and bullet sponge enemy waves that never end are like, the biggest complaints people have about the series.
Nice! I'm expecting the visuals to blow minds.
Boring garbage is certainly an... interesting way of treating some of the best games of last gen, and arguably of all time.
The gameplay is what prevents them from being the best games of last gen or of all-time.

How long is the keynote supposed to be?

I have never heard anyone want an open world Uncharted game. What I want is a game with interesting shooting mechanics, decent enemy encounters, and platforming that isn't automatic crap.
When a game is as heavy on the shooting like the Uncharted series is, it's always nice to, you know, have interesting shooting mechanics and encounters.
So scripted encounters? Uncharted's MP is better gunplay than most on the market with it's traversal mechanic. It's not a shooting simulator.I have never heard anyone want an open world Uncharted game. According to one of the PS Blog responses, they said it won't be streamed from the PS4.Have you checked the live event viewer app? It was streaming last nights VGAs was it not? maybe it will stream PSX as well?

Or he needs to hit X to play video lol.I know it's been linked already, but straley holding a DS4. Definitely gameplay.
Melt my face naughty dog.
The shooting is great, man. And the encounter design is superb. If you don't like it that's down to you. That's your opinion and fair enough but don't treat it like some universal truth. There's plenty shooters out there so I hope you find the right one for you soon.

Run to the car and run when you get out of it to get to your pc/ipad whatever, but drive carefully.i will have to drive from work to the house like a mad man
Bravo sir. Bravo!
Those people are wrong. UC games have wonderful, satisfying gameplay, with the sole exception being puzzles in the first two games. In some ways I like shooting in UC games more than in TLOU because of how quick, dynamic and surrounding scenery-driven it is.The terrible platforming and bullet sponge enemy waves that never end are like, the biggest complaints people have about the series.

Opening with Uncharted? Holy shit, what will this event have to show after that
Well I don't see how enemy encounters in falling buildings, on speeding trains, or sinking boats etc can be uninteresting. So I can only imagine you mean something a bit more scripted and less "gamey" as being interesting.Where did I say scripted encounters? Huh?
Bruce Straley ready to bust out... the pose.

Holy shit. Well done!
When you said "everyone thinks.."Not sure where I said it was anything other than my opinion, but okay guy.
