Probably coming to terms with how much money Linda sank into her campaigns for two blowout losses

With the way fox news and the republicans are acting I think the republicans are pretty much about to offend off their own constituents with how disgusting they're all acting over this. They'll either try to get along and work with the government now or they can pretty much insure they wont get re-elected into the house because they will come across as completely ineffective and just blockading the political process. You either get something done or get out is all I'm saying and these meltdowns just make them look pathetic and insane to everyone.

I am quickly realizing how quick I am able to narrow down my friends list on Facebook.

Here's what was written last night:

"Congraulations america. Get your lube ready. We are all about to be fucked by a black man."

My response:

"The black man at least knows how to spell congratulations".

And here is today:

"It has come to my attention after the election I did a pretty good job choosing friends on Facebook. However I did make a couple of mistakes. After today those mistakes will be fixed. Anyone from this day forward showing support for liberalism socialism and the democratic party will be removed. As it turns out you were not friends after all."

Here's my response:

"I learned a long time ago that mixing politics and friendships is a slippery slope. I also learned that everyone has different views, and that to be friends, or acquaintances, you have to accept other people's views, even if they differ from your own. I am proud to say that I did vote Obama for a 2nd term, and my decisions, and my reasons were my own. People may not agree with them, but I stand by them. If you remove me, then that's obviously your choice, but I would rather be removed, than to be judged over something as simple as my viewpoints on an election."

And I have since been removed from said "friend". Once again, it is reaffirming that its not because Obama is President, its because Obama is a black President. I feel so bad for this world sometimes that these narrow minded views exist today.

Sorry... Yeah I think my Dad's hatred for Obama has more to do with his race than his politics. His loss really.

Hannity saying that he has no respect for the Obama campaign and their lying in order to win the election. Says that he would be ashamed if the GOP had won that way.

lmao.

I have no idea why she thought it was a good idea to not only run in Connecticut once, but to do it twice. She should have been patient and waited for Kay Hagan's seat to be up for re-election in 2014.

He's just rambling and ranting incoherently. Painful to listen to.

People listen so they can be affirmed in their hatred of everything Democrat, so the just turn off their brains until they hear 'Socialism' or 'Debt Ceiling' or 'Alinsky' or 'Wright' or 'Kill Romney' and then smile and nod and feel a little bit better for being the terrible fucking people they know deep down that they are.

It's hilarious how Fox News and right wing radio has created hundreds of thousands of General Jack D Ripper wannabes in the 21st century. All they needed was a black president to help them do it.

I don't understand why Trump keeps blathering on about the electoral college being a sham. Am I not up to date or something? Obama won the popular vote too did he not?

Alright I'm here for my public flogging. Apparently I've been made a junior member again... fun. I hope you guys hold Barack's feet to the fire on actually getting the house and the senate to do something in the next 4 years, otherwise it's going to be a long 4 years.

You're a good sport Pctx.

Hopefully the House actually wants to get something done in the next 4 years.

Don't worry, her storyline isn't finished yet.

I now think that SuperPACs are a great method of wealth distribution from the rich back to the economy. The invisible hands wins again!

The thing with Rush and Hannity recently is that they've been able to set the talking points for Republicans for the rest of the week. They may be getting it from somewhere else first, but publicly they are a pretty good bellweather for where the rest of the talking heads will go.

Example:

Already Hannity is talking about the next 'Debt Ceiling'

The problem is that those talking points aren't helping them any. They are more geared towards obstruction and slandering Democrats than they are about making progress as a nation on anything. They are specifically geared towards increasing power for the Republicans and decreasing power for the Democrats. A steady, unrelenting, constant tide of very biased negativity. And it's starting to really hurt them. For a good example, when Romney went after Obama for his failure to call the attack an act of terror. That was a constant Rush, Hannity, and Fox crusade for weeks.

Except that Obama did in fact call it terror, on day one.

When their base starts to believe in the slanders and exaggerations instead of the reality and truth, like what happens now, you have a huge disconnect. And honestly it needs to stop, soon.

Not sure how Hannity and other Reps can be so delusional.

1. Ignore the negative campaign Romney ran and pretend it's all Obama

2. Act like the rest of the media is biased when Fox is is quite clearly the most biased of all

3. Be so delusional about facts and figures

a.) Completely disregard all of Obama camps claims about Romney, suggesting they're all false, when so many were true
b.) Pretend the fact checkers were partisan and were just picking on Romney
c.) Act surprised that they were so off on the election predictions
d.) Completely disregard Bush and his policies and act like everything started with socialist Obama

It's mind numbingly idiotic.

My god i have people on m y fb now buying guns and ammo, snd take lessons s they are ready for whenthe revolt begins.. Really? Wtf is wrong with people.

Proud to say that my entire family helped take down Mourdock yesterday. The rape comment did him in, but this is a guy that actually said during a TV interview, 'Frankly, the highlight of politics for me is inflicting my views on other people.' Donnelly ran that into the ground - such a spectacularly arrogant thing to say and he showed no judgement at all in saying it. Buh. Bye.

All Hail Sunhi.

Thank you my friend. This will certainly be a birthday to remember. Now if I could just get Bjork to create a birthday thread for me my life on GAF would be complete.

Just found this pic, from last night. It's casino magnate Sheldon Adelson, who bet $100m on Mitt, leaving the building pic.twitter.com/GBSTDMiq

Can't speak to the authenticity of this
