Hardly. I genuinely like Cain, which is more than I can say about any other candidate.

Plus, I still feel cheated about Obama being the first African-American president. He might have an African father, but he acts whiter than I do. And I'm white.

Hm... Is there supposed to be a certain way a black person acts?

This post coming from you should shock no one.

Good luck to all of the states who have educated themselves and are creating progressive change for the future: WA, OR, CO, AR, NY, OH, Il, PA, and MA.

However he wants.

Random fact: I love black people and I wish more of them lived around here.

Some of my friends are black!

By the way, no need to worry about 'Bams being black. Sarah Palin did, after all, say he was "chuckin' and jivin'". I read somewhere that's like the TEST for black.

I convinced my girlfriend to go to a pub with a tv, where I'll have to convince the guy to tune in to sky news, just to watch the results.

Don't fail me AmeriGAF!

Don't a lot of UK pubs close at 11-ish? This won't even get interesting until 1am London time and won't be called until a minimum of 3 hours after that, more likely 4 or 5.

This national third party stuff is a trip. I think voting 3rd party nationally is a way to feel you've done something; however, the true work of bringing a third party into national prominence has to start at local elections. Not glamorous enough? Or just too much work?

Italy here, they're closing down at 1am. Then I'll run home screaming like a little girl.

So...I know the polls and the electoral college all seem to point to an Obama victory today but im still totally freaking out and am in total doom and gloom mode. Why? Shenanigans. With all the voter supression, voter id crap, purging voter rolls, etc. Ive had a growing feeling that Mitt is gonna win, polls be damned, because of some shady ass shit.

Is it stupid/childish of me to feel this way? Anyone else having similar thoughts?

quoting myself cuz im still freaking out and want to be told i shouldnt
