Until Dawn Remake price leaked (€70, $60, £60)

But who will want this? Players that know UD likely beat it over a weekend. And its not like it looks like ass, game was never heavy on gameplay to begin with.

If theres a limited Edition im in. Otherwise i probably wait.

One of my Favorite ps4 games and even in the top 30 of All time. Love the game.

I'm buying it, its mostly for people who haven't played it more than people who have. Even tho i did, i want to replay it, its been almost a decade so i barely remember it.

Might have done well at $40. Shame they're sending this out to die.

Why not replay the PS4 version you already have? If you got rid of it, should be cheap digitally ir for physical copies.

Like what are the enhancement going to do here? It's not a game where having more FPS or RT going to do much.

Love that we're still playing this game. The same people who complained about TLOU P1 remake.

If you don't want a game, don't buy it. Maybe you're not the target audience.

Sony wants this game on PC and they want to expose it to a whole new audience once the move comes out. It's not hard to see why they are remaking it. Low cost way to get a modern game out at near full price in time for a transmedia strategy.

The remake may very well sell more than the original.

Precisely. Why folks continue to fail to understand this is puzzling. The PC version of the game is the reason why there's an updated PS5 version of the game, and they're pushing for this to happen because of the impending movie where a new wave of people will be introduced to the IP.

TLOU was a PS3 game. This one was a PS4 game. Way more ridiculous.

Until Dawn on the PS5 at 60 FPS still looks better than most games (even from Supermassive)

Well, no shit. Just saying that Sony could have gotten an even bigger target audience by making different choices.

Charging $70 for a remaster of a PS4 game is ridiculous. They will probably sell some copies, but it could have been a much more enticing product.

I dont even think that it will be a much better looking remake like Demons Souls or TLOU were. From what Ive seen from trailers, some scenes will look arguibly better on the original.

This is the type of game that gets a discount very fast. Played it before and not the type of player who would do all ending etc. I will probably play it once and that's it. I choose my own prices so I will get it at 5$ on PC.

Too expensive for a facelift, good game and everything but why couldnt this have just been a £10-20 upgrade for those of us who already own it? 🤦‍♂️

Uh....you can pop in the PS4 version into the PS5 and play for free. Still looks and plays well.
You can play the PS4 version on PC? Interesting... 🤔

This is quite simple. Because of the impending movie the game got a remake for PC, and because the PC remake exists, there is an updated PS5 version. Unless folks want them to charge a pittance on PC or have vastly different prices between the PC and PS5 versions, this is what was always going to happen, and will always happen with any remakes.

It happened with TLOU Part 1 as well. When Bloodborne inevitably gets a PS5/PC version, it'll be the same thing. Why folks are still befuddled over this is the truly baffling thing.

Is this a $60 'remake' or a $60 'remaster'? The term 'remake' is used very loosley these days

Technically a remaster, since this is keeping the original game's story, voice acting, camera angles, etc. and just replacing the graphics and lighting.
