So team USA mens soccer won't be in the olympics?
Nope
Nope
I thought this was the U 23 team....
Olympics is u23 with a few over aged players.
Is restricting to below 23 self imposed? If so, wtf
It's a restriction imposed by FIFA in order to not let the Olympics overtake the World Cup. The women's tournament, curiously, does not have an age barrier. Is restricting to below 23 self imposed? If so, wtf
I think you add 3 over age players when you qualify for the olympics not during qualification for the olympics.

They should pull for Mexico! Miguel Ponce was born in Sacramento California.Team Adu.
It still stings. I'm patient. Respectable World Cup performances are all I really want. However, this is definitely going to color Klinsmann's early reign. It sucks going from finally exorcising the Italy demon to this.

I am kind of new to following soccer (last few years or so)... is changing your jerseys constantly a common thing?
I like the older ones with the diagonal line, at least I still have one of those!
Teams are always changing jerseys. Generally club kits are changed yearly and national kits are changed 2 to 4 years coinciding with the tournament schedule.
