Altos ore just scored 2 nice goals in the span of 2 minutes against Ajax in the first match of the season.
I am glad he is having great time at the Eredivisie but it never seems to translate to the national team.

Eh, it's a true friendly (well as friendly as a US visit to the Azteca can be), so there's no real pressure for the team to perform. I expect the US will play loose and hopefully we'll be able to score a goal or two.
Not expecting a monumental beatdown.
a tie would be great. The squad won't be the main guys, will it ?

Yeah, it's not looking good. The USMNT is 0-19-1 all-time at Estadio Azteca and I think it's safe to say we won't be leaving 1-19-1.

I think our central defense will be weak. Besler is unproven and Orozco sucks. Cameron is the only good one.

will be an interesting game to be sure....I have my own game at 830 so ill be stuck watching the first half then probably having the end spoiled for me as i come out of my game, damnit.

As a SKC fan, I am kinda glad Besler got the nod. He has been solid at the back for some time now. Let's see how he fares at the international level.
Second was really impressive. Still never seems to replicate that on the International level.

I can understand Chandler not wanting to play for the US team, because I understand his connection with this country is very little...but either tell us 100% that you don't want to play for us, or if you're committed, then show up when we call on you. Don't use us as your back up in case you don't get that call up from Germany.

Very, very unlikely. It's not about winning anyway, it's about seeing what we have with some of these MLS/Primera league players. Hopefully a few of them show enough to get consideration for future call-ups.

fingers crossed for a close, exciting game...no blow outs please. will catch half one before my game...after that who knows when I'll see the end of it.
I'm lucky that we have the early game this week so I think I'll corral our team, hopefully after a win, over to the local watering hole to watch. Go US!
