Any one got a good response for me here? I'm not the most political guy, but I assume some of you are.

Ask them how the fuck we guaranteed they'd get a nuclear weapon? They were working towards a bomb pre-deal with no international oversight, yet now they've agree to all sorts of limitations regarding their nuclear program, and have guaranteed access to their nuclear sites by international observers.

This "guaranteed they'll get a nuclear weapon" talking point is nonsense not based in reality. And if they renege on the deal and start working towards a bomb again, all our previous options (bombing, whatever) are still available to us.

Nobody cares what the VP debate is saying. But it looks like Hillary is trying to make sure every highlight of the debate includes a mention of Trumps taxes. If every story is about Kaine refusing to shut up about taxes then every story is also mentioning Trumps taxes.

(when I turned it off it was taxes he was hammering, not Putin. Similar principle though.)

People saying Kaine is doing a poor job don't really understand the purpose of a VP debate. Kaine has controlled the pacing and the message of the debate. It has been all about Trump's failures, while Pence barely managed to scratch Clinton's image. This is a proxy battle. It's not about either of them looking "Presidential", this is only about attacking the opposing party's Presidential nominee.

Pence is doing better if you glance at the debate in its current form for a few seconds before flipping the channel. Pence has a more presidential look and stature, but he's not saying anything to rebut Kaine's points beyond lightly chuckling and saying "he didn't say that." He's on the defense, and the second you realize that he's been on the defense for most of the night he stops looking so presidential.

But yeah, flipping through for 20 seconds? Absolutely Pence looks like the leader here.

In other words to the vast majority of Americans, Pence will look better. Esspecially in the 20 second news highlights.
