I noticed something the second I moved a character. I couldn't believe it...
Am I really the only one that noticed the game has weird image processing?
The game has micro ghosting. Leaves an after image of a frame or two for a fraction of second. I noticed it right away as I played quite a lot of vanilla before FS release.
Ps3 version here, funny that's the first thing i noticed while playing my first match, and I have never played vanilla so i can't compare it to that one.
Played in the grassland stage and yeah saw that weird effect.
I don't have any tech knowledge on the matter but i looked like some weird motion blur or something like that. It really leaves the impression of ghosting problems with the image. Weird
Somersault does retarded damage. Shit is half of a launcher combo by itself.
Lion is the most annoying character ever, glad that no one plays him, haha. :*
Lion just has me scratching my head at the voice acting in this series. They've been using the same terrible lines FOREVER.

It is part of the charm.
I wish they kept the announcers as well haha.

Thanks for impressions, I thought I was going crazy.
EGM's review suggests the textures took a hit compared to disc VF5. You guys noticing it?
5 Jacky matches n a row...I just sto pplaying whenever Jacky appears as an opponent now
YOU HOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUuuuuuuuuuu
Some things look and sound off. I think they compressed game to fit it in 2gb.

Why would it affect the PS3 version, then? As far as I know, there's no file size limit there.
Unless it's a case of MS' supposed policy of "games can't look better on other systems" at work.
Or Sega being lazy.
Disappointing, in any case.
I just remembered something.
One guy had a mic and "played" Jacky. He wasn't really playing just waited when Jacky did that auto punch parry with fancy animation. Right then he shouted: HOKUTO!
Every time with punch parry. HOKUTO! He played just for that.
Some players are nutjobs.
2P All those punch strings and watch out for random somersaults.5 Jacky matches n a row...I just sto pplaying whenever Jacky appears as an opponent now
LOL! Those are the kinds of matches where I wish replays (when available) saved voice chat too!
I suck playing online and have no real desire to, is there any other modes than just arcade for SP?
Not really.I suck playing online and have no real desire to, is there any other modes than just arcade for SP?
Really enjoying just messing with the tutorials, but the sheer amount of moves in this game is quite the mind fuck for my tiny 2D fightin' brain.
Currently trying to learn Eileen and failing miserably at it.
This is truly a shame - not really, there's no other real reason to play unless you like practice. Sure, there's Score Attack and Special Sparring if you bought the item pack but uh...nah.
We're talkin bout PRACTICE.

Oh yes. One of the first matches I had I met a dude that I think won his fights by making opponents laugh and lose concentration. He wasn't any good at the game but man that chatter on the mic.
"Ohhh you like dis don't you? Huh? Huh? So this is how it is?! You giving me this? I show ya, I show ya, c'mon." etc.
But he was talking constantly, during moves, after KO. He wasn't really swearing but the way he was talking - like a whispering gangsta felt like he was true comedian. I laughed and barely hit the buttons.
Dude was gold.
I haven't actually tried going online yet. I just assume I wouldn't have a chance.
On Xbox, I played with a headset for maybe 5 or 10 matches total. Ran into a Lei Fei player who was just yelling "hiiiya, yaaaa, hiiiiiya." into the mic. That was when I decided silent was better.
Are we sure the compressed sounding round announcer isn't stylistic compared to VF5? Capcom keeps doing the same thing in their fighting game updates Every iteration adds a filter to make the announcer sound more electronic.

The announcer isn't the same as the VF5 Vanilla announcer, it is a stylistic change.
