Got mine at EB Games last Saturday night.

Thanks a lot, she's going to head out to EB tonight so hopefully we can get started later. While I was looking around I found it on Amazon for $45.82 (which doesn't help her since she's like the only person in America who still won't shop online), so if anyone else is still looking for a copy try Amazon.

**** the haters, this game speaks for itself... the reviews don't do it justice.

Nah, I don't think the reviews do either. Viva Piñata is Rare's first great game in a long time. It shows they're still capable of pumping out great software, which a lot of people, myself included, doubted until now. So after all the flack they (deservedly) took for their past several titles, I was hoping they'd get their due credit for Viva.

Gamers on this forum and elsewhere are in love with it, though. That counts for something. :)

im just hoping the word of mouth gets them some sales. because for the most part this game is going to slip under most of the 360 userbase's radars.

Yeah.

Initial sales will be interesting and if it has any legs through Christmas and beyond.

If you're going to accuse media outlets of being biased or paid off, then you better have solid proof to back this up.

This sort of slander is equally as damaging as the implication that any one of the vocal, hyper-defensive PS3 fans on GAF are viral marketers for Sony.

And if I remember correctly, that offense is grounds for a ban.

god, if stupidity like claiming a site is bias without a solid case would be grounds for a ban, I would marry this forum.

Make it so!

Here's a list of some 360 games 1up actualy dared to score lower than gamespot (known to be 'tough' and 'fair' and 'consistent' as claimed by some people here). I left out the ones that scored pretty much the same or above. How can this be with 1up in MS' pocket and consistantly 'overrating' 360 games? They're not even consistent in their bias. Worst biased site ever!
For every high score 1up gives to a 360 game you can find more 360 games with a low score.
